Joe
Joe, about males not making sense: You will find that you will get along with females a lot better than males. It's not a bad thing, but you may find yourself wondering later on if a few more guy friends would have been nice. Work conversations will also be difficult, as the guys tend to discuss weekend sport. You don't have to like beer. You may try spirits when you're older and prefer something less cheap. Vodka can be a good start, mixed with orange juice. Don't start with Smirnoff. As for the loud and boisterous, some men didn't have a real father figure themselves, so they find it hard to relate to their children. Don't blame him. My dad was the same, we sat down and talked about it when I was about 16. It was a load off his back, to know that we could talk, and we've been great mates since  And sorry, but your sister will probably not revert to her old self. It's normally a one way change. All of my friends are males (there are no co-ed schools in Blenheim) and luckily at my school not all of the boys are immature and I can have good conversations with my friends sometimes, but a lot of the time it can be quite annoying because they talk about computer games quite a bit. But my friends don't go on about sport or porn and things like that which is good. And they're all nice people and have a great sense of humor. But was I was getting at is that most males don't make any sense. More than half of the people in my classes are the disruptive type that are always sending nude photos to each other on their phones and throwing things and yelling and talking about sport. In general, females seem to make much more sense than guys and are more logical in the way they think. Tried to talk to my dad many times with no avail. We always end up arguing again after the situation has supposedly been "sorted". I find it best to talk to him only when completely necessary otherwise I don't say anything to him at all. Also I have tried spirits before and they are repulsive. The only time I ever use alcohol is very occasionally in small quantities as a flavouring in some types of baking. I also hate orange juice unless it is freshly squeezed from an actual orange. Shop-bought stuff just does not taste the same as how oranges should taste

Squirt
I myself (as a male) think in a very logical manner (well I think I do :slfg: ), hence why I take subjects like the sciences and Maths. But even on one of my English essays my teacher wrote "Your essay is too formulaic."

mcrudd
my stepmum has this, took her literally years to get diagnosed properly and now she is on and off steroids all the time Does she have the skin or organ one? I am so concerned about my friend, she has been very ill for the last two years, gets inflamations and infections for no reason and now they positively diagnosed her with the internal Lupus. Her stomach is being attacked now she has redicilous counts of bacteria in her blood tests. They hope that her main organs and brain won't be attacked next. Its really a day to day diagnosis of what is being attacked, you never can tell &c:ry
Sophia
I don't know. She has pain in her joints and body almost all the time, gets extremely tired and gets bad headaches. She lives on painkillers and steroids. It is whatever is the one that attacks the vascular system so it weakens her arteries. There is a long running Lupus thread on the Trademe messageboard health section, don't know if that would be any comfort?

Joe
Just been to one of the local art galleries to help set up for an exhibition that is starting tomorrow. This is the result of the two year art class I have been doing after school. Although most of the time I didn't actually need to go after school because I was taking photos instead of painting like the other five students. I'm so nervous about the exhibition opening...
