My reply=

Hi

Please dont send this rubbish to me. It wastes my time. Here are other people that are not happy with your actions http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/here-v ... tml#359450

I will think long and hard about buying any more products from you if this is how my details are treated.

Regards

Hans

Hmmm :-? :-? Seems they thought they were on a real winner, money making scheme   That would tick me right off receiving those junk spam chains... :x

I wonder if they have been poaching email address through peoples profiles or icon at bottom of posts? Especially since TTK mentioned having never dealt with them :-?

Oh and thanks or that Hans :D

No i have bought from Tankgirl3 though, I didn't connect the names though. I am pretty unimpressed and won't be buying from them again!

They have probably been saving the email addresses of everyone who deals with them and obviously thought that was worthy of passing onto other people..

It has happened to me before getting these random emails from fish people if you don't want to be on their list just email them and tell them to take your email off or just flag it as spam..

I find it difficult to believe anyone actually believews that kind of $#@! and would pass it on... especially a business person...

Perhaps Tankgirl has a needs to update their antivirus software and has mailed out to their complete address book unbeknownst?

however, I do have friends that no matter how many times I plead with them NOT to, still pass on supertstitious junk chain mail grrr!!!!

On Apisto forums a heap of people, myself included, got a ton of spam from other users both in PM and normal email. It turns out that emails from some members got hacked.

It pays to mention that passwords should not be the same as logon names. Dont know if that applies here but some other forums it seems to be common place

the ID of the sender is often not the person that has sent the email

I have had a email address of mine stolen and use for sending out advertisment for male enhancements and I did not send the emails... it was discribed to me as "your email has been stolen" by 2 seperate computer people... what did I do with the 200 to 300 replies I was getting daily, I altered the email adress and although they may well be still using that email, I dont get the replies.

Lynn at Tough Tanks (in Valley Rd Henderson) may or may not be sending them... I simply dont know but there is a very good lesson to those that forward jokes and similar on... delete the email addresses. Copy and paste as that way, the email lists dont exist and the spammers dont have a huge data bank of email addresses

I have found Lynn to be fair and a reasonable person so would be a bit supprised if she was forwarding these to strangers

A clear breach of the privacy act, because that info was not used for the purpose for which it was given - report her and I guarantee she never does it again

We dont know the full story yet....But if it wasnt done by her is is still her responsible to protect the info

Add me to that list. Just went and deleted the email.

I doubt they did it on purpose, everyones knows what spam is. Seems unlikely they thought of it as a money making scheme etc, and I think making big statements about never purchasing from them again is a bit premature lol

Ive spoken to Lynn and she did not send the emails... as suspected her account or email ID has been hacked.

I see she has joined and I suspect shes seeing what she can do about it.

She was wondering why she was recieving all this unusual email back from people
