    Oscars

Pay em attention mine sulks if I don't visit the tank at least twice a day to say hello lol. Other than that urm.... yeah... lots of filtration is good - I'm seriously considering a canister filter to go with the "on top" filter of my aqua one 5' tank that he's in. Going to try a powerhead first, to see if the added circulation helps any with keeping stuff moving.
  3. It's only funny if it's the last time something like this comes up otherwise you're all bastards

    Normal Krib?

They are incredible pics... may I please ask what camera and what settings? (your camera probably saves the settngs into the image file, I would love to see how they were taken hehe) fantastic fish
  5. am I the only person who can't see the pics?
  6. Hehe, my nearly finished stand looks so over engineered compared to that then again it's for a 500L tank.. Looking excellent though
  7. I'm not sure to be honest, mine hasn't grown much since I got it, but there's plenty of room in the tank yet
  8. The oscar you didn't tell us you had in the tank with it?
  9. I'm always stunned as to how quickly fish heal up - keeping cichlids together teaches you that when you see fins grow back in a matter of 2-3 days max

    JEWELS

They're fantastic def recommended and not all that agressive at all (they actually tend to get pushed around a little in my 5' tank hehe)

    Howdy Folks

I have a R2-150 (5ft tank, looks the same as that) - it doesn't leak at all from the hood... wierd. They def cost more than buying a simple glass tank/stand and a filter, but in the lounge it looks fantastic.
  12. I saw one in aussie, along with this informational sign looks kinda the same to me

    My New Fishie

he/she is wicked! arrrgh.. stop tempting me to get one for the cichlid tank
  14. from that point of view, I live in an apartment, both the stands I have here (and other furniture ) were designed to be cut elsewhere, then brought here and assembled onsite. It's definitely doable.
  15. I agree, I have a pair of common bristlenose, and they rock cleared a tank of algae in two days (and it was BAD!)
  16. I don't have a saltwater tank, but you're welcome to pop in for a coffee/talk me into keeping saltwater fish/say hi if you happen to be through the CBD

  19. I picked up a Jack Dempsy today, so decided that rearranging the tank would be a good idea to confuse the lot of em It worked well, he hasn't been hassled much at all, most of the fish are still (2 hours later) swimming around looking all confused  only fish that seems interested in chasing him(her?) is the female convict, maybe she's horny
