  3. I was given a male bristlenose which after a spell in the Q Tank i put in the 200L tonight along with about 6 others, mixed male and female and he's fighting with the biggest male that was already in there. My question is are they just setting a pecking order and will they settle ? is this normal ? or should i remove him to stop one killing the other ? Thanks

    Infusoria

Hi I was trying to grow so Infusoria for my Honey G babies but did not have any old lettue so i just used some old Celery in its place , i sat it in some water in a container on top of the Discus tank , nice and warm it did what i expected and went cloudy , a mucky brown and has now got a dirty skin type stuff on the surface , i was just wondering if its ok ? Should i use it or throw it out ?, I've never grown Infusoria on purpose before so i'm not sure, Any help greatfully accepted . Thanks

  19. I'm sorry, but i don't , not being over critical of my own pictures but at a larger size they look good cut down to that size they look nothing :-? especially the last one
  20. Sorry Caryl , i like my photography almost as much as my fish i hate posting substandard low quality pictures
  21. Sorry guys seems i did not get my pictures approved, they were too big (200K) I know space is limited on any harddrive/server but considering the space that is used for members tanks ( only 42 entrys) maybe a little more flexablity would be nice. still rules are rules and who am i to complain :-?
  22. Heres a link to the members tanks forum , let me know what you think http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewto ... 8319#78319 Still waiting approvel. Pictures were "to big" heres the smaller ones http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewto ... 8415#78415
  23. A 150W heater will be fine , you don't NEED one that wattage , 50 or 100 would also be fine but 150 will do the job no worries BTW Welcome to the fish room nice to have more from the Hutt in here
