  3. this is a skunk cory or C. Arcuatus this is a c. metae your looks a lot more like the c.metae to me if you have the aelrod mini atlas look on page 426 to reconfirm also many web sites i found today looking up both these species.
  4. Blue , I think your "Skunk Cory is a bandit cory , Corydoras Metae if you want to get scentific , i have some the same and have been checking them out since they spawned to make sure i got the name correct , the skunk cory has a dark arch band copletely over the side/top of its back , still very nice, and adele says she likes the butterfly plec too

  18. Just wanted to as a big thank you to whoever spent a lot of time putting all the registered breedings data dateing back as far as 1974 online for us all to see. Very interesting to check out what has been bred and by who , maybe even who might have that special little somefish your looking for. Anyway THANKS
  19. for me it all depends on what i want it to go with or is it going in a species tank by itself , and also where i got it from , some shop who will remain nameless i'd Q for at least two weeks , on the other hand i got a fish today from a very well known fish breeder and am quite happy to put it strigt in with mine. Another factor is how far did it have to travel to get home , a fish is going to be far more likely to get something like whitespot from a long trip than it is just going home from a local place, even if it was healthy when you set out Bottom line is your call, whats the risk and what are you risking if it does get sick ?
  20. thought i'd try that first as a change of tank might kill them anyway , worth a try Over the moon and some !!!
  21. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: I HAVE FREE SWIMMING FRY !!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: just got home and there much bigger than i expected , maybe they have just been hiding in the java moss but there swimming around not really bothered about the adults and the adults are paying them no mind either :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
  22. after braking more than a couple of lids i thought i'd get as perspex lid made to try , it cost twice and much and is no good at all , it saggs really easy even though its quite thick , glass is the way
  23. Flurish Exell killed all the GBA's in Adele's tank when she used it but did not seem to harm anything else .
