Sounds like a matter of timing , if you want to use the breeding boxes , you need to time it so they will drop withing 24 hours of putting them in there or they will stress and either injest the baby's or have stillborn. You can always fill a tank with fine leaved plants and just move them to there to drop then let the babies stay to grow and move the mother back to her normal tank .... good luck

  3. yes was nice meeting/talking with you too , all the fish got home safely maybe try in a smaller tank that you can remove the parents from once spawned , i'd give that a go.
  4. Cool that you got them spawning , have you tried leaving the eggs in the parents tank and moving the parents ? might be worth a try

  7. if the house stays warm its better off than on if its likely to jam on and cook the fish but i'd be buying a new heater ASAP. good luck
  8. I'd say tell him to buy a new heater , if its been playing up before it will again and probably cook his fish one night .... spend the $25.00

    Well these Angels are just breeding machines , there first babies were moved so they layed again , they became free swimming so they layed again , those are free swimming so guess what !! yep , now have three breeding of angels in the same tank at the same time all being looked after by there parents !! Amazing !
  14. they will get on fine if you get a group of about 5-6 , pandas tend to be fairly timmed fish , also plenty of hiding places are important, good luck there neat wee fish
