  2. My Leleupi's breed a few weeks agao so was not expecting much whem i saw mom keeping everything away from her breeding site again , I thought she's still just protecting the babies but on a closer look this is what i found , ( yes there eggs are white when there ok )
  3. As some of you will know i breed some standard koi swordtails and out of the 300+ babies 3 were albino , 2 males and 1 female, well that was a while back they were kept clear of anything else they couldpossabley bread with and those guys have grown to adulthood and right this mintue the female is dropping her first batch of fry , so far i'd as about 60 and she's still going and i'm very happy to say they are all ablino's so cool
  4. sorry to hear its still going on there Tam , if you need to put your fish somewehere while you clean or maybe even recycle ( total clean out ) your tank again , I'm sure i can find temp room for them here till your ready. Anyway anything i can do to help just ask good luck

    Angel Fry

they are in a 80L tank , sponge filter, about 26 degrees planted tank by themselves when they spawned , ( i since added 3 corys to help with clean up since i am deleberatly overfeeding them to hopefully stop them eating the fry ( seems to have worked )

the angels are doing very well at three weeks old they now look like angels
  9. i recently sold about 18 of these to Auckland people , now mine have just bred again so more will be avalable but not for a while yet
  10. Looking at the two they are similar but your point about the size of the spots makes me tend to agree withyou northland chic, that we both have the Corydoras Delphax, they might well have been like Alan said "side catches" and not come in as Delphaxs but i think there here and thats a great thing , will try and bred mine as soon as a tank comes free and see what happens.
  11. apart from mine being darker they do look like the same species tho ..i think thats another point in the right nameing. Thanks
  12. I'm not sure yet , i sure hope so it was all they had in the tank
  13. Hi Guys , I bought three of these guys on a recent trip to auckland , they were sold to me a Panda Cory's , Which they are not and i knew that at the time but i was not sure whatthey were , i've done a fair bit of looking up and the closest i can come up with is the Corydoras Delphax a good piocture in the alexrof mini atlas middle picture on page 437 looks almost idential to the first picture here so i'm 95% sure thats what they are but does anyone else have them or know what they really are for sure ?
  14. Awesome good for you , make sure mom and dad can't eat all the eggs
  15. Thanks everyone , I think it can safely be said mine are Trilineatus and thats all good there great little guys and I'm very happy with them
  16. there is a tap full here come help yourself
  17. Thanks for the input , so from these new photo's i'd say they was Trilineatus , would you agree ?
  18. I've been told the same Mystic but if you look in the Axelrod mini atlas pages 435 & 436 there are two pictures of the trilineatus and one has spots and one has lines , hence my confusion.
  19. Hi Guys From what i have read and heard there seems to be great confusion between these two corydoras species, now i've come to to conclusion that the differance seems to be on the head markings , dots rather than lines but all the books i've got and internet referances i can find controdict each other. Can anyone tell from there not great photo's which these are ? Thanks
  20. we need a bigger picture to be sure ...
