i have both Neolamprologus plucher's (aka Daffodil) and the Brichardi but both have there own tank and both breeding well, i think its my Brichardi your refering to on Trademe . both are good parents and neat fish

how do you think it spawned ? , angels lay eggs on a flat surface so you will see them unless there eatern before you can, but then you would not have "thought" they spawned... like this

she is provblably trying to rearrange his house , you know , stick vases of flowers everywhere , and "cute" little nick knacks whrere the remote should be :roll: but your right give them some caves as a retreat , you will probaly find they end up breeding in one

all my eggs will be in a smallish ( just smaller than a marg container ) pot of sand in there tank so it should not be too hard to syphon off the egs

thanks guys , i'll leave it till mid next week ( time to buy some peat ) then do what Alan says and fingers crossed now for the silly questions , what sort of peat do i use ? just any old peat i might get from the warehouse or garden centre ?

Hi Guys I'm pretty new to Killies but trying my best I've done a bit of reading on these guys and found out they like to spawning on the ground, in peat and the eggs can be removed , kept for a while then hatched ....this is what i think anyway , always ready to listern to more experiance breeders Anyway i did not have any peat so i gave them a pot of fine sand at the bottom of there tank and they love it , so much i just watched them spawning in it. So my question is , " what do i do now ? " all help would be great. Thanks and here are some pictures of the action
