I use pond master which are very quiet.Also never had one give a problem in the last 3 years.

I have a deltec and it as chim said kicks arse.But jetski has got sum good stuff at great prices plus second hand.Going to be a tough one to decide as it was for me because they all say they are the best. :-?

How long soak for and what type of vinegar.Brown white?

I dont think they will fit as i have had some run ins with changing the insides on my light.I got an arcadia series 3 with 3 250w MH and one burnt out in the second month.They took it away and tryed to fix it buy replacing the whole inside of the unit.It came back looking like a guy wearing a t shirt 5 sizes to small.This was already a 250w and they didnt fit so i think the 3 series is thinner.Never know your luck,could be a winner

I pulled the grill off the front and removed the impella It seemed clean.I could turn it with little force when unpluged but when i pluged it in i tryed to turn it with a screw driver and it was very hard to turn as if there was a polarity problem.Does this happen.

Your tank is the main part of fish keeping so i would go with new glass and maybe make a sump with the old glass.You dont want your tank to break or leak so its not worth taking a chance.My uncle had a tank break years ago and they still havent got round to replacing that carpet.Didnt lose any fish as the noise it make woke them up.Lucky

One of my streams has stopped.It started about 3 weeks back when they were about to come back on after i pushed the food timer button.The alarm for the one stream came on and not the stream.So i unplugged it,checked it then plugged it back in and away it went.Next time i used the food timer it did it again and i had to unplug it and plug it back in untill the alarm stopped.Last night it stopped and the alarm came on and it does not go at all. Anyone had this or got any ideas i can try.

Sounds like water level is set to high.Lots of foam means it is working well .just drop the level down bit by bit until it does not flood the cup within 24hours and then see if it settles down from there.If not drop it some more till it produces the goo we all love.(yeah right)

My skimmer is in a cupboard so it is always in the dark.Never gets anything growing in the main body, It has got a few snails holding on for dear life tho.

Looks good.well set up i know how hard it is to get all the gear on a small system and still look nice.

Looks good.I have always liked bow front corner tanks.I like the wood finish.Beats the old custom wood finish any day i recon.
