  4. Love the hair grass and the corkscrew val. Tanks like yours always wants me to start a planted tank again.
  5. hi At the moment id only worry about the greshakei as the males get aggressive when they want to breed. The Red Tops and Demasoni's might get abit stressed. Your borleyi are a way off yet but later down the track say 1-2years they get very big and tend to get GRUMPY. Must be a old age thing. My young ones arnt bad even when breeding but the older males just a pain. Cool tank

I reacon not even a pure Royal Blue (hansbaenschi, Red Sholuder). My thoughts are a Chilumba male crossed with a female RB or some sorts. When I went to purchase my lot I saw the male Chilumba which was pretty awesome but noticed a couple of females that was really high in the body. I asked the question but was assured that the male hadnt breed with these females. Just one female that was elongated. Boy did i get suckered in.

  10. Dont worry anna. No gay fish around. I put my 13year old male Tropheus in a tank that contained my male Fusco and bugger me. They where doing the breeding dance. Just to funny. Lasted a couple hours then they must of relised that they where both males as neither of them wanted cuddles and wanted to say "i Love U"

    YAAAY!

Anna. Got any more pics?? The Chilumbas I purchased 3-4 months ago (not from anna) have been growing well into something THATS NOT CHILUMBAS. The person that sold them to me has moved house so I am unable to return them. If i find his new residential address I will be posting all 12 back to him one by one or unless he refunds my money. These guys resemble a Royal Blue shape. Not elongated like a Chilumba.
  12. Hi They prob got internal worms. Need to get a good wormer and get onto it asap before it gets out of hand. mike
  13. Different but cool and the plants look healthy. Where the plants from???
  14. Ive found that even with no females in the tank they still play up. Esp my OB peacock and fusco. They seem to be partners in crime. With any tank if you put a rock or plant or what ever you are creating a territory. So no rocks or whatever helps with diffusing aggression.
  15. Hi. Just what Ryan said. A few of the fish had sunken stomachs and some even looked like they had no flesh on their entire bodies. Just skeletons. And just hovering in one place. Its a great tank now but if they sort it out (worms) it be a greater tank Re the Borleyi. Have sent a list to the local fish shops so they get first choice. If any left over will let you know. ta
  16. Hi Pretty awesome tank. Love to have that in the house. I sold BFC the 18 adult girraffes a number of years ago plus a few odds and ends. The rest of the larger fish came from A.O.A. One of the fish he sold was a MASSIVE borleyi male which i noticed wasnt there the last time I visited. Great display tank and setup but one thing, and if they dont do something about it they will lose alot of older fish, is the fish need serious worming!
  17. Had a guy get me heaps. So i did the silicone thing and guess what!! It just floated. You might have to get something stronger than silicone.
  18. Nice pics and better fish. Your Aul Baenschi and Otoph.lith (zim rock) are showing awesome colour. Have you had any luck breeding your Optha Ventra? Is that a Aul.Lwanda in your tank as well?
  19. Just wanting one or two good ones around the area. Dont think my two kids and partner understand the importance of finding good specimens. Its all about shopping and theme parks for them.
