  18. Hi Sorry to hear. Welcome to ikolas! I had about 12 but ended up with two that lived happily and bred for years. Go fiqure ah! Have you tried removing all rocks and just keep them in a bare tank? I personally would increase filtratuion. Its beneficial for your fish and incase one ot them craps out. Try introducing some dither fish aswell!!! Are you sure they have Bloat? Are their bellies hugh when you remove them?

    New Tank!

Hi. Great mixture of colour. If you intend to breed them further down the line make sure you purchase quality specimens. Check out the breeding adults first. Good luck and hope to see pics soon.
  21. Dont worry to much about her. She will just give up the fry and spit. But make sure when she does that you bring her back to condition before she breeds again otherwise she will waste away. Probably best next time she holds is to strip her if you dont intend to keep the fry.
  22. Seriously!!!!!!! Is there no one else out there with L400 in the country? or are they just keeping quite. How many generations are needed to be bred back before a decent L400 is achieved?
  23. What F-F said. To much water movement for the fry will surely kill the fry. It also depends what stage the fry are at when you strip them. If still mostly egg sac then a egg tumbler will be reqiured. If at fry stage then a tank or ice cream container wth gentle water movement always works for me. Filtration isnt that important if the fry arent eating yet hence i use ice cream containers. Once they are ready to eat I move to a grow out tank.
