in a small container/tank ammonia can build up rather quickly to unsafe concentrations. just because your replacing the water doesn't mean the ammonia has not done any damage already, why not have a filter, as long as it doesn't have activated carbon in it it will only help.
I think thats dangerous thinking, you need a filter as you need the cleanest water to improve re-growth, just use a low current style like a HOB or a slow bubbling sponge. personally I find no difference between growth in current or out of it.
some people claim quicker growth if the fish is displaying to a mirror constantly
Both the male fighter and the Male guppies are the prime candidates, with 3 males for 1 girl, she is oing to be harrased seriously and the boys will keep fighting over her (imagine 3 14yr old boys and a supermodel in a locked room.....)
strange for a change that big to happen so quickly.
double check your readings (small amounts of contaminants can make the tests go way out especially pH)
what was the timeframe and how big a water change was done??
try testing the water out of the tap t see if there was anything there.
an was the bucket used clean??? (my missus loves to try and use my buckets for mopping)
yes, but have you seen the roads the smaller towns have to deal with???
seems strange that they spend millions of dollars just to save about 5 mins on everyones commute, yet leave the main streets of smaller towns (and many of the major highways around the country) untill they are literally falling apart
normally cheap to.
ask your LFS if they will add a big order onto their next shipment for you and if you take it straight away they might give you a discount (as its not taking up shop tank space, or time to acclimate them)
what?, my nz seashore tank and my Leopard breeding breeding tank...
Im the only one who touches the shop tanks except to occasionally net a fish out, so they are counted as mine.
the bracket of the roller door, those things have VERY strong springs winding them up(the possum's tail was trapped in it). got me in the eye socket was out for about 10 mins, 10 stitches, worst black eye ever
Sorry about hold up, but heres a few I could find, I'll take the camera with me today and try and get more.
