  1. keep a close eye on it, it may be a precursor to pop eye. make sure you keep your water quality perfect and try to keep the tank stress free for her.
  2. I would avoid it personally, most rams are tank bred nowdays and I have done them many times in pH as high as 7.8 I find its more about having a suitable diet, and make sure your water is nice and clean. btw is there any fish in that water atm???, 0 Nitrates seems a bit dodgy unless thats your tap water

  16. hrmmm, by that definitiion what does it say about the children certain prophylactics are meant to prevent??? :digH:
  17. I don't, only as a treatment, I prefer not to use prophylactic measures at all, plus if your constantly adding salt to a tank there is the risk of the concentrations increasing to dangerous levels.
  18. I dunno about that one, had a car broken into about 5kms down a back road in the marborough sounds once, funny things was we could see the road and no cars went past.... must a been a sneaky bush ghost p.s. updates on book???
  19. yeps definately, as long as they don't all turn blue looking good witht he current set up though. Darker substrates and lotsa plants make just about any fish colour up nicely, also when they are healthy they are a lot prettier, although I find Albino kribs go a lot yellower on a lighter more grey/brown base....
