Yeah, they are supposedly working on doing the same to convict cichlids at the moment. They were offered over $4400 usd each for them but couldn't sell them legally yet or something as they are genetically engineered. I would love to get my hands on around 6 of them. Too bad that they will probably never be available for the private collector !drool:

Are L066 pair breeders or group breeders? I would think a tank that size would be fine Crunch and I am pretty sure there isn't an over supply of them, my LFS never has any "fancy" plecs for sale anyway. Just make sure you have a lot of filtration and wood for them, as with all plecs they produce a lot of waste and can quite quickly foul the water they are living in if left under maintained.

What are you trying to feed it? I had a large BGK and it was the most pushy eater ever, ate anything I put in the tank.

I would think adding chemical would be less then satisfactory then just getting the tank stabilized naturally, just like nature. If you don't need it don't use it is my motto. Also the livestock themselves would probably benefit more from the non use of chemicals as they are not naturally exposed to these type of chemicals in nature where most marine livestock are from, not captive bred like FW tropicals.

I would think the breed of seahorse would be less important than what is actually available in NZ at the moment, if it were me I would see what types I can actually get then plan around them since they are going to be the main attraction of this tank. The fry might be starting to harass the parents too much now that they are a bit larger, if it were me I think I would seriously consider removing the parents now and seeing how it goes, worse case scenario you lose them all and chalk it up to a learning lesson.

My father has a touch screen TV, it's the stupidest idea ever, grubby hand prints everywhere, what a waste of money. Windows 8 is a joke, I played around with the beta of it for awhile and it is easily just as bad as vista if not worse, horrible support for most devices, crap looking interface and unstable to boot. If anyone is thinking of going out and buying it my advice is don't, stick with XP or 7, at least until more developers start writing decent software for them and making sure there is no driver issues.

I think you are just an ignorant person who seems to think your way is the best and only way. So far in all of your 18 posts on this wonderful forum you have claimed a lot but can't seem to back it up. Go back to your foreign forums and tell them your "stories" about all of your "tanks" and your "friend" who imports fish for you but won't for anyone else.
