Still seriously considering buying a ph controller, my ph just doesn't stay stable - Last night before lights off it was sitting around 6.6 and just checked now before lights on and it is sitting at 7.2, something must be causing it to rise or maybe it is because I have really low kh & gh? I will check again tonight once the co2 switches off and see what it is.

  11. Broke another glass co2 diffuser just before :facepalm: Lucky I made sure I had a spare when I done this last month :thup: I should seriously get my A.I.G. and buy an inline diffuser I guess.
  12. Hey guys I am just wondering what medications are available in New Zealand to treat flukes in Discus? I just want to be prepared for when I do eventually breed them. Also what are the signs I should be looking for if I do suspect that they might have them? Cheers.
  13. That is why I use the bath, also makes it nice and easy to change the water that it is soaking in every few days if the wood hasn't sunk yet.

  16. You still drinking those beers Cam? As far as soaking driftwood I just fill the bath with cold water and lay some big stones or bricks on top of them, that seems to work pretty well. Usually only takes a few days. I have also tied driftwood onto rocks and planted them in the substrate if I am too impatient.
