  1. If it is a bolivian ram you will be waiting a long time for it to cross breed with anything, especially as it's an S.A. cichlid, not an african cichlid haha. Also it requires completely different water parameters than africans dude, it prefers slightly acidic ph where african like highly alkaline ph.
  2. What type of ram is it? Is there an african cichlid named a ram as well?
  3. Nice, your small fish seem to be reproducing like rabbits!
  4. I have an hp slate 7, I'm pretty happy with it thought I only use it to read ebooks.
  5. Just put ferts under the sand dude.
  6. I would use some form of dirt fertilizer if I was to ever redo my big tank. I guess it depends if you want fast growth or just normal growth.
  7. Ah true lol, it's looking great by the way man. Spending many nights in front of it with a nice ale I guess?
  8. I only use sand and plant balls in my larger tank, never had any issues with growth. On my smaller tank I'm using daltons aquatic mix capped with 50mm of fine gravel and growth is definitely better though. Plants look healthier and grow faster.
  9. Good idea with the brackets, have you thought about getting the channel powdercoated so it's less noticeable?
  10. :lar: is that your tank dude?
  11. Ah ok then, let me know once it's done.
  12. Do you mind if I post this on the NZ Fishkeepers facebook group?
  13. Not really dude, sometimes I have a few leaves just randomly melt yet the rest of the plant stays sweet.
  14. Mine do it all the time, always grow back though.
  15. Mikes the one who advised me to use black neons.
  16. Excellent job to everyone involved in this issue of the magazine, it looks amazing and there's some great articles. The product and store review is a brilliant idea. Well done.
  17. Mine stay completely away from my apistos, never seen them go past the middle level of the tank.
  18. Having a rap day, Kanye West - Yeezus.
