  1. Wow, are you running co2 or something??
  2. Yeah Simons planted tank was amazing.
  3. I think if I was running a sump with co2 injection I would definitely run an inline rex grigg style reactor dude, that way the co2 is fully dissolved in the water column which makes it harder to gas off.
  4. Excel won't matter Tom, it's not actually co2 so doesn't effect parameters like pressurized co2 does.
  5. Not really lol, I've had it for ages now and hardly ever use it unless I'm drinking haha. Never been a fan of gold games but Tiger Woods is definitely the favourite among my friends that do. Why not download a free demo off the ps store and see if you like it?
  6. It needs co2 injection, substrate ferts and high lighting to carpet.
  7. I was supposed to get a pair when I was in Christchurch but the pricks sold them on me lol.
  8. Cacatouides, Macmasteri, Nijsseni, Borrelli, Hongsloi as well as rams etc.
  9. Don't stress bro I have had this happen a few times now, just lower the temp a couple of degrees and chuck an airstone in and things should be sweet within a day or so.

    Soon...

 It's a sword not a fern lol.
  11. They have internal flagellates, metronidazole is about the only thing that can cure it but it is not an easy drug to get a hold of. You need to ring your vet and see if they may be willing to write a prescription for you. Some other people have had luck using epsom salt, search the forum for likomas thread on it.
  12. I'll be keen on the 4's lol
  13. Nice one bro, put my name on a few of them if you have much luck please.
  14. They don't usually eat green spot algae dude, they're more partial to brown algae.
  15. You're supposed to re calibrate them monthly, I do mine every few months and it's only ever out by a tiny little bit. They also recommend replacing the probe every 6 months or so.
  16. Like most red/pink plants I assume it will be more dependent on the amount of light bro.
  17. I think if you trim the leaves they will probably die off, if you trim them to the substrate you should be fine.
  18. Manuka is perfect for aquarium use mate, not sure about the sulphar though can you smell it?
  19. Definitely try to get another filter, a cf1000 is not enough for a tank that size especially with cichlids dude.
