  1. Wooo dyslexia, aka screw grammar, phonetics, spelling, and punctuation. I'm pretty blind to most errors until I have learned the correct way, affect/effect anyone?
  2. When I started fishkeeping, I used to wash the filter media and only used 10% of the required dechlorinator cause of bad maths. Surprising how well those fish survived, still have one of them.
  3. And I want one in an acrylic tank.
  4. Meh, you asked people "local" to you, Just tell your teacher that local is a relative term and your survey removes location bias
  5. Well done aotealotl, I find youtube has videos on how to do most repairs. http://www.youtube.com/user/EricTheCarGuy http://www.youtube.com/user/scottykilmer these are both mechanics that show you how to do most things. and http://www.youtube.com/user/mightycarmods are good for some things and mods too.
  6. Your DNS register wasn't updating, so you couldn't get to some websites. :sage:
  7. If this is the flyer I've seen, they are factually incorrect and try to argue that if they change the definition of marriage to allow gay marriage, they might as well allow incest, bigamy and children to get married. All the change is doing is removing some discrimination based on gender from law.
  8. you'll want 4 people picking it up, they are very heavy. you could put wood across the bottom and out the sides to help give better grip?
  9. I took Maori 130 as one of my general education papers at UoA, learnt a hell of a lot. It's not taught in schools and shouldn't be, it would be too open to teachers bias.

  11. The whole thing about the Maori / New Zealander dynamic is built on Misunderstanding and deception by the government and media. It's very easy to unknowingly become racist on this issue. I suggest reading Te Tiriti o Waitangi, in international law it's the only valid version of the treaty, once you read it, you might understand why Maori fight so much to protect what they consider theirs. http://www.waitangi-tribunal.govt.nz/tr ... lation.asp This is an english translation with some clarifications below it for better understanding. Also people don't know the last confiscation of Maori land took place in the 1960s or 70s, and that there was a white NZ policy until a UN Human rights policy had to be put into law. It's best just to leave the issue alone.
  12. Why? I would guess you'd need a permit to obtain weta and transport them knowingly out of their natural distribution.
  13. Wonder if they'll let you cut up a can and get some hose clamps and clamp the can over the hole?
