  1. These ones? See viewtopic.php?t=2406 for the howto.
  2. togs briefs or commando
  3. That reminds me, those cuttings I promised  are more than ready now
  4. LoTR tea or coffee (only cause I'm drinking one)
  5. You know you are addicted to fish when you offer up in an open forum that you have MBS for live food.
  6. Just about what Stella said... inanga have a vertical-ish tail where as smelt have a pronounced v shape. Of the first 1/2 dozen smelt that went in to my tank I think about 5 died with in 48 hours, of the next 2 lots of a ~1/2 dozen I think I lost only one. Big tank and cold water helps a lot I feel. Went on a Kokopu hunt last night on only saw a few bullies, smelt, trout and 2 eels in a stream that I thought would be ideal very little in native or exotic fish life.
  7. touch on the small side but looks nice :tears:
  8. Only one of my fish is named - Stanley, the torrent fish. The inanga are refereed to as 'those greedy ' but the rest don't really get a name.
  9. Stella, good to see you back on your feet again
  10. depends what you want to do, but off the top of my head Blender and POVray. The latter is more of a rendering program and the first has a very steep learning curve.
  11. Just curing atm. Was only a small dribble that was noticed before refilling the tank
  12. heaps of big crickets this year in the wiakato, and a good few Kihikihi[a] (Cicada). Kihikihi in NZ have a long larvae stage, 2-5 years I think... I just go and check http://www.teara.govt.nz/en/cicadas/2
  13. Two random ones: Raglan Waipa Vally
  14. Ice I ran those stats through http://adsl.tin2tin.net and these are the results: http://adsl.tin2tin.net/yourstats.php?statsID=149959&tab=2 but NZ uses a 12db SNR so those reading will be a bit high for a NZ line. Those stats would suggest a line length of about 3km Have a read of that site (test tab) and do a quiet line test to see if there is noise on the line.
  15. You can get away without the chiller with just a desk fan pointing at the surface of the water, I can normally keep my 400l to 20deg or under (except when the humidity is up above 70-75%). My natives are currently in 1/2 a wine cash on the back porch as the 400l decided to spring a leek when I rearranged the room. Outside temp is 31deg atm, water is at 23deg with no extra cooling.
  16. True, but I sure as hell had a lot of fun, and we only had the cops involved once (made the local rag as well :happy1: )
  17. I blame windows for not haveing a spell checker installed system wide. /me wanders off to install a plugin to firefox Edit: spell checker is installed but not working in the beta 4.0b10 2d Edit: anyway those sort of emails always have spelling errors in them...
