  1. wood will do that sometimes if it has been waterloged then is dried backout, I would just give it a good scrun with a firm brush.
  2. Use the rest of the sheet to make a 3D background or two
  3. Whats more important, your fishes colour or health/stress :digH:
  4. angle: found on net Betta Splendens: found on net Swordtails: found on net I wont keep looking to see if the others are 'borrowed' as well
  5. K also check the licence, you may have to display the authers copyright notice as well as yours
  6. If you are going to use a template from the web, make sure that your banner fits in well. ATM it looks very disjointed
  7. There is a good vid on youtube somewhere where this (or something that looks the same) is used in a large sump. Edit: I think they were using K1 by Kaldnes Edit 2:

  17. Yep, fine to use. The west coast is also mighy fine for finding drift wood. Any of the native timbers do well as they dont rot and sink very quickly. I just give a quick rince off or scrub if thay have lots of dirt/algae on them.
  18. Is that why all the corals are glowing? :slfg:
  19. I don't think that prions would be an issue for non consumption fish would it?
  20. Do it at night with no lights in the room and with the tank lights on. If you use the flash get the canera as close to the glass as possable. On the way back home I stoped off at a creek that I have never looked in beforeand found some large eels and saw about 1/2 a dozen smallish (8-10 cm) kokopu :happy2:
  21. Just buy aquaone bits, should fit and will be cheep. Just take the hose with you when you go so you can get the correct size for the hose. The outlet one could be cleaned with a week solution of bleach if needed? Just wash well after.
  22. Yes we had a good night out, apart from all the screams every time an eel was seen. The Cran's bullies that I have from that stream don't have the boldest markings so can be a little hard to tell apart from common bullies. The one addition to my tank, another torrent fish, is out and about tonight now that the main lights are off. I hold you responsible for my addiction Stella
  23. That is where I get my aquarium/tonic salt Sold under the "brand name" of "Bulk Rock Salt" :slfg:
