  3. lol. all this event proves to me is that being a dumbass is dangerous....
  4. to give you a fair idea of the quantity, one pound, or half a kg (give or take) is one large supermarket plastic bag chocka block full. so five kg... probably two big black kleensacks....
  5. the one time i got DIC it ended up costing me close to $1000 in fines and court costs, along with 7 months licence disqualification. all fair enough. before i was 25 i was caught by police with marijuana six times, three of those times while behind the wheel of a car after being very co-operative and polite, i was given a friendly warning, had it confiscated, and sent on my (very) merry way. i still have no criminal record, and rightly so! the police and government are already very, very relaxed when it comes to personal use. legalisation or not, i still believe that new zealand is the best country to live in, in the entire world. 8)
  6. it makes me sad when people kill things just because they don't like them.
  7. i'm not sure any argument would be effective on someone that spends their time watching the ridges without sound...
  8. TV is bad for you. you shouldn't advocate things that are bad for you.
  9. oh and to get back on topic, follow this link for a great way of disposing of unwanted fish... viewforum.php?f=11
  10. the same government who lets party pills (which are generally a dangerous concoction of strange newly designed drugs) exist on the market, and now as you say, even frequently approves them for sale to the general public, despite the frequent news of horror stories of overdoses and psychotic episodes.. but when it comes to a humble plant, a NATURAL and simple herb made from earth and sunlight, a plant which has been used for thousands of years throughout almost every different culture for a million different beneficial purposes other than just getting stoned, the same herb that has been studied on an advanced medical and technological level for decades, and literally celebrated by a massive proportion of our population, a drug which has been proven low risk by top scientists countless times..... that SAME governemt has no trouble restricting use of said herb on a highly policed and prosecutable level and literally ignoring anybody who tries to reasonably question their reasoning. not only does this government get away with this and many, many other examples of blatant hypocrisy and abuse of power when it comes to pot laws, but they have somehow, (as you can see above) effectively and very cunningly convinced a huge proportion of the average joe that they are completely justified. close your eyes new zealand, your government is in control....
  11. i'm gonna add another vote for goldfish. i'm currently housing 4 extremely large and plump ones in a 220l which needs daily water change even with a big external filter ... orandas are just big fat sacks of... stupid huge idiot tubs
  12. ahh.. nice stereotype... this explains your stance on the whole thing really. you know that most stoners are not anything like cheech and chong, as the media would have you believe? they are doctors, lawyers, politicians, teachers even police officers. many of them use pot for chronic pain, extreme nausea, and alleviating mental illness. sure, a few people like to smoke all day every day while wearing t shirts with weed leaves on them and never brushing their hair or showering. but they make up just a small percentile of users. how about being able to restrict cannabis sale to over 18s, having it available for sale from dispensaries with strict rules and fines for those that break them, so that the average joe don't have to meet dealers who will inevitably offer them something harder like P. what about the millions of dollars the taxpayer would save by not having to process people through court systems merely for making a personal choice that is *fact* no where near as damaging as alcohol? how about the revenue that would be bought into this country from a flourishing hemp industry.. how about the fact that the only reason it waws made illegal in the first place, is because some money making industries knew it would put them out of business, and paid the government to take action... i could go on and on, but my point is, i fail to see how good, reasonable arguments like this fall on ears that for some reason even don't have to justify why they overlook the logical reasoning behind legalisation, and simply say stuff like "drugs are bad mmmmmkay" or "stoners are dumb"... therefore helping to keep the weed illegal. do some research man, open your mind because the world is changing and we have to keep up, not stick to reasoning that is decades old... for those interested in bettering their knowledge in order to form an educated opinion, "the union" is a great documentary to watch on the topic. i'm not a stoner. i just don't think you should make your opinions based on what everybody else thinks, or what you've been told or trained to believe by society and the media. find out all the facts first, and then decide.
  13. personally i really like how us fishie people come from all and any walks of life. it certainly makes for this forum a lot more interesting!
