Aw no I'd try and get them off the ground before their ventrals start develpoing...But I have no idea how to do that. I've heard micoworms encourage lazyness.
It takes good photos when it decides to but it usually sulks. Photoshop helps my below average photos into average ones.
Imagine if they were all males
Sounds like a great spawn
A few months ago I spawned my metalic blue guy with a blue multicoloured PK.
When they hatched the father thought eating them would be a great idea. So I snatched out the father, the bubble nest popped soon atfer and no fry could be seen . So I decided to move my other fry into that tank as it was bigger.
As they grew older I looked amongst this swirling mass and found 2 whose colours bear an uncanny resemblance to my blue metalic fish
:happy1: I'm really excited now that some survived. F2 will bring me PKs in their colour :happy2: :bounce:
Ah so shes a carrier, I didn't think she was a pk. You might even get hmpk 8)
How many fry do you have?
Paitience and a good camera are two things that I lack. My camera 'focuses' but changes its mind when I push the button. After many repeated failures I give up.
The females PK too? Then you can expect 100% of 'em
Haha they're like gingerbread men "catch me if you can, fool"
You manged to get a good picture of the fry though, thats a magic skill that doesnt apply to me.
Thanks, I've been on holiday wandering the Marbourough Sounds.
Yusss check out my new username! :happy1: I'm no longer the shamefull typo of a humble arthropod, but a well spelt member of the Trilobita class.
They arent used in shows anymore due to their aesymmetrical apperance. People are trying to bring them back and have even proposed a new standard for them.
VT is pretty much the 'natural' shape a traditional PKs fins would look if lengthened without all the selective breeding and editing that went on to produce the modern types.
They have long tail that arches and drops down. Ideally all three unpaired fins taper to a blunt point.
They have no more than 2 ray branching in their tail.
Heres the proposed standard.

The caudal, dorsal and anal fins are quite long and pointed as opposed to a halfmoon
My VT is my sexiest fish
A well bred VT in my opinion looks much nicer than a poorly bred CT, HM etc.
Problem is there arent many people dedicated to breeding quality ones...
Aftershocks are any earthquake with a smaller magnitude than the mainshock in the region surrounding the fault rupture. Haiti is still getting small aftershocks.
