  1. I've fed my fish bugs I found in stagnant duck ponds that got the occasional dog urine. I would scoop up the water in a jar repeatedly until I got a good catch, then pour the contents into my tank and watch as the fish ate them... But I've had no ill effects.
  2. For posting pictures viewtopic.php?t=2406 Your tank looks very nice
  3. 2 kittens (medium rare) and a glass of orphans tears !drool:
  4. :tears: Thats a shame about your male. Those two youngsters are looking great though especially the top one
  5. You pretty much summed up my thoughts. Adding more animals to the unwanted pet population is not going to make it go away. Fluffy doesnt have the ability to make consious decisions on whether to have offspring and if in heat will act accordingly, regardless of the future consequences.
  6. Wow thats really a nice betta I'd say his colour is black lace with some red wash
  7. Lovley dragon, really thick scaling! I'd be dead keen on any dragon offspring you decide to sell
  8. Ah thats what I did
  9. Woah what have I done to the pictures
  10. How big is the biggest one? If s/hes big enough to eat the small fry and you want to spare them then I'd take him out.
  11. He's a hunk huh? I was so excited to buy him. I hope some of his kids have his colour
  12. My friend has a cat that has had 2 litters and shes only 2 years old. I keep telling her to spay her but she believes her cat 'wants' kittens and its not her right to decide if she can or cant have them...
  13. +1 It's a shame there are so many backyard breeders adding to the pet overpopulation. Good luck finding the kittens homes they are so cute
  14. Betta splendens has been crossed with B. imbellis, smaragdina and mahachai to produce the first dragons and metallics.
  15. Thanks The boy has shiny blue lip stick  but its hard to see in that photo The father of the other spawn was a multicoloured PK and mother was a black and red HM I think the mother must have had some metallic in her background. The camera flash made their spawn look better than they actually are. In real life you can hardly see their shine. Most of the fry were black and red. Heres my favourite male from that spawn
