i know maggots will crawl out onto you bed if you don't have a good lid =p -
yea i put them in both my tanks and only had one die in the 60L but about 7 in the larger one and i think that may be on account for my fish so trying to find them all to put in the smaller one. but apart from that they seem fine. great to watch my female fighters try to figure out what they were =p

my personal experence with neons is they will just decide to go when they feel like it. they get so inbred these days. and my kulhi loach always does dashed after the light turns off. my Panda cories used to do a similar thing when i had them in a 90L but know in the 160L they don't. Bumble bee gobies need a littlle salt from time to time don't they? try using some rock salt, we used to use it to fix all sorts of things in our tanks -
i found that if you put to much courgette in after a while it starts to make the tank smell like someone has thrown up careful to take it out after a few days now lol

when I was younger i used to keep 3 in a 56x25x27 and they seemed to do fine. did have 4 but one managed to just dissapear one day lol

me too except my compost heap is lacking in that section at the moment

I've just got a red eyed puffer recently and been feeding it the occasional earth worm but i'm have increasing trouble at trying to find any worms. So i was wondering how do other people get their worms?
