did you get a blue print of any were or just make it up? i was seriousle thinking of doing that for my 4ft but bout a $10 metal stand instead. i think a wooden one would look so much better though
they will move into my 300L when i go back to palmy in feb. might get rid or the gourami don't know, they are getting a little aggressive now. will be getting some type of tetra to bread it up to so they can confuse the angels a little
Hey guys i've been thinking about getting some angel fish for my community tank but was just wondering if they will get along with my 4 dwarf gouramis? the 2 males pick on each other and the females every now and then. if they try this on the angels will they beat the males up?
i have just found a few big sand fly type bugs that have left alot of larvea in my tank. but only in the net breeder and my gbas aren't touching them lol so got to go fishing
they're kind of swarming on the top and in the net. they didn't look like mozzies to me. and we have just had the house sprayed. but they do wriggle like them
ok so i looked in my net breeder today that i keep my month week old gbas in and a few shrimp and found what looks like a swarm or fish fry.
they are 1mm and black from what i can see just sticking to the surface. they look alot like tadpols.
the only fish i have in my tank that they might be would be flying fox or dwarf gourami but i don't think either are possible for the community i have.
So i have i have 2 theories.
1) they came in as eggs on the xmas moss i have just got off the forum
or
2)they are shrimp or insect larvay.
i don't know anything about the shrimp but i did have an egg laden female in there a week ago.
i leave my windows open 24/7 and the tank gets up to 27C at the moment.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what they may be it'd be a big help, i'm too impatiant to wait and see
hey my brother i looking at getting a beardy in the future and was wondering if there were any set up's, even other reptiles, in west harbour or north shore that we would be able to come have a look at and maybe ask questions?
drop me a PM.
OK so the heading has nothing to do with the topic just wanted to grab attention.
I have 5 Mystery Blue apple snails between both my tanks. I have started to realise that the ones in my 160L look as though something has been eating their shells. The two in my 60L don't seem to have this same problem.
I was wondering if it could have any thing to do with my CO2 that i have in my 160 but not my 60? I also put PMDDs in my larger but not in my small.
on one it looks as though there is an actual hole in it's shell.
I don't think it is any of the fish as i have never had a problem with them. they are all from the same bunch of eggs i hatched so don't think it is somwthing they picked up from then. i have put them all in the smaller one for know but would like to know if i can prevent this happening again. I liked the're shiny blue shells
