    I was waiting till after breakfast and now can't find any lol. but I have just released 4 from my eggubator. there are enough hiding places so hopefully I'll still get some. Need to swap one of the females for some more males but can't be bothered taking my com. tank apart again

    your welcome. Has he taken charge of the smaller ones yet? I saw the small badis in wet pets today, poor thing looks loney don't think there will be many who will by the one by it's self

    I thinK I may have more girls than guys in my breeding set up. just caught the first 6 I could find so probably the wrong 6. have only seen a hand full of eggs so far of which I have managed to eggubate 4

    I know with my gbas they get pale for a little while and some paler than athers

    my Father would inroduce us to his parteners and we would have meet/got to know them a few times before any stayed the night. I think you do have to be carefull when it comes to parteners as to the children it can feel like you are replacing their mother for them as well, particulary if they live with you most the time. though I was only young when this all when down so might be different for infants or teens I know my brother had a hard time excepting our now step mother.

    I know a few people who have used westcoast sand in tanks quite well

    na. but the ones I have just moved to the breeding tank with the silica sand do so I think it may be a case of they have known luxury and want to go back. will be canging the substratre in my tank when I move it into my room evenually so might have to incorparate a silica sand area, it's getting it to look good thats hard

    I think the rule of thumb is enough for them to eat in 5mins?

    in auckland they used to case each other and hang out at the front of the tank like in the pic, it's great to watch a trail of 6+ all following each other to the surface and back. they just hide from me these days =(
