Marmite was born in the 19th century and was produced in UK since 1902. It was given to the colonials as well but they made a different version. Because they were crazy, obviously. :roll: Wikipedia: :sage:

barley straw didn't work for blanket weed in my pond but then Anthony told me :facepalm: when I said that it was in the sun almost all day. It reduces over winter usually and I pluck it out every few weeks so it doesn't get out of hand. I didn't use barley straw extract as I was worried it would kill the bugs in my pond, as bug growing is the purpose of it's existence. Will be interested to read the article.

Actually it's the real estate agents that have started using TM. Up here TM is more up to date than the lists they put out the front of the shop much of the time. Out rural/small community way it may be different -
try ESR - I know of a scientist there who specialised in Forensic science and bugs. She'd be bound to know what it is

Trademe has more houses than the real estate in my experience, well at least it does for Auckland. When we were looking I had the TM search in my favourites sending me things to look at daily and the real estate site didn't have so much. There was rarely anything on there that wasn't on TM so in the end I was only looking on TM. -
We have finally been admitted into this century and bought our first digital tv. We've gone from a 14 inch to 24 inch and it seems HUGE :happy1:
