I think with all cars you need to assess their condition and past use as best you can, it isn't ok just to go for a brand. I know Toyota are the reliable brand but doesn't mean someone hasn't driven it into the ground. Cars with tow bars especially have the potential for having a tired gear box or ruined clutch and back suspension. Plus I found second hand Toyotas can tend to be overly expensive compared to others, though they seem to hold their value better.

I know someone whose aging mother is going to give up her 1986 Mitsubishi Mirage that is in pristine condition and has only done something like 50k mileage, the good old 'one lady owner' car that has lived in a garage all its life. It's old but if you wanted cheap and in good condition for its age send me a PM and I put you in touch with them.

I'd like to eat rabbit but unless you can catch one yourself they are really expensive. You'd think they'd be cheap like chickens
  8. you could probably have up to 10 neons in a tank that size, depending on what else you wanted we actually have 'zuri08' around already.... no doubt he will be around soon to say hello :slfg:
  9. most little fish are more peaceful in a group, I'd go for 6 or 7 or more though plus they look better as a group

  11. I can't wait that long for a diagnosis on my Bronze Twisted Val :sml2: I suspect there is a missing oto, I can only see one. The other other is looking extremely fat also, maybe a little too fat :tears: .

  15. I've had a change of light tube about 3 weeks ago and a change of location. There is filtered daylight in this room, although none on the tank directly. Slowly the brown algae and scum has come back. The oto aren't really cleaning it up though I can see them trying. The latest concern is that the twisted val has gone a bronzey colour. The anubias and the crypts are still ok, most plants have a perfect new leaf at present. The balansae is making a comeback. In the CPD tank there is a lot of the scum, it looks like the tank needs a serious dusting and a few cobwebs removed. This tank doesn't seem to get the brown algae. Both of these tanks are next to each other in the new room, do you think this is all caused by increased light?
