I aggree with P44, dont be so worried about protien so much. IMO, things like colour bits may have all the nutrition they need but just like we find with processed foods for humans, in more artificial form its harder for our body to abosrb. I mix up blood worms, brine shrimp, spirilina, daphnia, ox heart and meal worm. Plenty of nutrients in that and even some green in the spirilina and daphnia belly. Fresh water shrimp are good too, feed them on algae and plant matter crush them up and add to the mix. I dont look for % of protiens and calcium and all that drama, I just try to make sure their diet is as close to a natural food source as I can. I couldnt be further from an expert or anything like that so dont take me as discus feeding law by any means lol. So far though Im having great success.
