I've always thought a tank should be like you've taken a slice of a river/lake and put it in your living room. As someone else said, that just looks like a concrete fish prison.
Aren't Arapiama like highly protected? how did he manage to get his hands on some?
Hi, cat just bought this wee fulla in, looks like a native, probably a Puke, though I can't be sure, anyone got a positive ID and any care instructions, though him being so young I don't have high hopes.
cheers.
I have just recently received one for my birthday with one charm on it, so now is the excuse to get more to make my family memories. Carlos sneakily got it for my birthday. Its the silver one which is what I like. Its lovely.
We've always lived in the *wop wops*, had tank water, bore water and spring water. Never had any issues. The spring at the last farm we were on had crawlies and bullies living in it ...... so it was all good.
I'm too young to have seen the add but I've been told about it. Apparently it was set in a milking shed(or possibly on the race on the way to the shed?) and the cows said *come on girls, milking with Murray* not sure what it was selling.
This is from Animal Planet but it's the same programme'
Makes me a bit sick, out of all those eels they let only one go.....
This ones cool....

Yeah well, it certainly wasn't cheap, $1295 all up, but it came with a nice sharpening kit and tool kit, missus also got me a hard hat with muffs and safety visor.
Wouldn't want to spend that sort of money everyday but everyone is telling me I'll never need another saw, it's certainly a very nice looking piece of kit.
Missus came home yesterday with a shiny new Stihl 271, 50ccs, 18 inch bar. Gonna go out firewood cutting tomorrow.........feel like a kid with a new toy.
Wait...the good bacteria doesn't like cold water?, so how does it work in say a goldfish tank?
We've just left our external and all the media from the trickle filter working in a bucket under the porch, while I get around to repairing the tank, but all the bacteria will have died anyway and we'll have to cycle the tank again?
