  1. +1 I would definatly not paint it
  2. No firth blocks are the ones that are sold at all M10/Bunnings/Placemakers/everyone else
  3. this is the catalog for firth blocks. The are normally about 390 long but the other dimentions change dependign on the series of block http://www.firth.co.nz/media/69313/Holl ... t%2009.pdf
  4. From those pics I would say it is a deformed HM unless he has ripped it on something
  5. This is hardly weaselling out of it is is a case of not reading the policy and not renewing it when it was due
  6. How much current do you have in the tank? When our fighters get clamped up we do a huge WC and up the current so they have to ust their tail more
  7. Some of the branched are closing but they still have the largest branch network in NZ and sometimes branched reopen and get moved because of customer demand. It is not a good ides to have a branch open with 5-10 staff to service 50 people when there is another branch 10 min drive down the road. By memory there are about 23 branched in CHC I personally have not been in to a branch other that to set up my account with NBNZ or Kiwi. I get my pay put in electronically, have an EFTpos cards, Visa debit card, Visa (credit) card and internet banking so have no need for a branch. Note: everything I say here is my opinion and not that of my employer
  8. We are up to about 7% of the market share which is good for being 7 years old. We only need to get to about 12% to be concidered big. On a side note P44 are you planing on staying in Palmy or moving to one of the bigger cities?
  9. I have always thought it funny they way people refer to them as the "Big 4 NZ banks" They should be the 4 Oz banks. I just say that because of my work. It is the "1 Big NZ bank" but you can just call it THE big one if you like
  10. He works for a bank but not one that is still growing so he should try a little closer to home because there are jobs & "careers" out there see: https://workforus.kiwibank.co.nz/jobsee ... O_p=30Ld7&
  11. I would say another tank just because I dont like having them in less than 10L of water. I always feel mean confining them to a small cage for more that a couple of days
  12. From my understanding you are partly right The male can pick the eggs up and fertilise them as long as she or she does not eat them. The male fertilises the eggs after they are dropped so the embrace has nothing to do with fertility. This is 100% correct
  13. Just done do what one of the guys did  I remember someone spraying their walls with a sugar & yeast mix not that long ago. If you shake the bottle you WILL be a pressure build up
  14. And how does that work out for how many bikes against how many cars? One bike for ever 50 cars and you get a $4,166,000 if you compare against how many rego’s are paid. Yes I did just assume that here are 50 cars per bike but should show how silly the figures are in this form
  15. For those speeds you need to spend about $3K on a 1976 Toyota supra and $1K making it go faster
  16. If you get him somehting nice (new TV or pallet of beer) on the same day the tank arrives he will be too busy with the new toy or too drunk to think about the new tank
  17. I would agree with that but you need to take in to account the fact the there are a lot more cars with ABS than without so it is like saying you are more likley to get shot in the head by a mad man then getting bit by a snake in NZ. I can say that cars with 4 tires are more likley to have a crash than cars with 3 tires based on stats
  18. Yes a user pays system would be much better! also they could put speed limiters on bikes (and cars) so they can not exceeded 120km/h and then there would be a whole lot less speed related accidents. Why do you need to be able to travel at 250mk/h or higher? They could do what the new Skyline has and have GPS that knows if you are on a road and limit the speed. Then when you get to a track the speed limiter is removed so you can still race it.
  19. So you are using 1 of them for activities that have a high chance of you getting hurt and needing ACC and 2 of them that have a slightly increased risk of needing ACC (compared with a car that has air bags and safety stuff)? If you are using something that is less safe and statistically more likely to injure you then why should you not may more for that? Would you support my earlier comment about needing private insurance depending on individual’s activities and removing ACC?
  20. Why do you need 3 bikes? You could sell one bike and use that cash to pay the rego on the other 2 for a few years. Or if you can afford to own 3 bikes then you should be be in a position were you are able to pay 3 regos
  21. The could just make medical, car and public liability insurance and then you would not have to pay the ACC because you would be covered but how many people would moan and cry about that too. It doesn’t matter how they change it there will always be a group that are not happy
  22. I dont think it will be the starter the dont normally stink. I think you might need to replace the hood. If it is a shorty you might melt the lid and cook your fish. As above get a pro to look at it or get a new one
  23. If they have not hatched by tomorrow I would say that you are not going to get any fry from this batch
