Cheers for that Ryan, you've made my mind up NOT to do it It was only a thought though I have a third discus that is getting picked on so I just thought maybe he'd be ok in with the angels. I may just have to try rehoming him I think or get a couple more :-?

HAHA the shrimp pellets are for the cories, but the discus pushes them out the way to get to them

My guys get a variety of food - bloodworms, zuchinni, discus tucker, colour bits, homemade frozen food - but there main food is good quality flake There favorite is sinking shrimp pellets I feed mine 3 times a day - only because they're still young and I want them to grow well

Yep just use rock salt - I buy mine from the local Bin Inn it's alot cheaper than the supermarket

So how long is treatment for the metro, can the discus just be put in a bucket treated then put back in the tank? Just wondering how much I need to get. Also doseage for the prazi?

Thanks guys. I've been following your post Lyndyloo and have seen the problems you've had getting metro, so thats whats made me think I NEED to get it now just incase I ever need it in a hurry :roll: fingers crossed I won't though.

Anyone in the palmerston north area know of a vet that will give me metro & prazi And what is the correct name of the medications i am to ask for? I thought it was about time I got some just in case I needed it - so it's on hand

We have 5 male convicts in with our mixed africans and have no problems at all with them apart from the odd tiff - only problem I can see is being only one the africans may pick on him or may not - I guess only time will tell if it works or not.

We have a mitzy pajero 3.5 V6 it does 13.5 litres per 100k thats taking it easy towing a trailer with example 1000kg load it's 20 litres per 100k LOL chews the gas Nice cars to drive we've had it for 3.5 years and never had any problems with it

You're right there they were wriggling 2 days later now all over the tank - don't trust everything you read from google searches
