*nod* *nod* *nod* (we need a nodding smilie)
I'm only up to season 4 of BB, half way through season 1 of Homeland and season 2 of Walking Dead and no idea where I'm up to with Dexter - probably a season or two behind, so no spoilers please.
True, I admit I was a little lost at times - what happened to the guy they hired who just wanted to get drunk and be with prostitutes. Brad asked him to sober up and be somewhere at 7.30 that night and then you never saw or heard anything of him - and half the movie was of him whining about his marriage falling apart. :dno:
Guy Ritchie does better gangster movies.
I don't watch tv for that reason, because that's all that seems to be on.
I'm sure fish is fish, regardless - not sure what species has to do with it. :fshi:
After all, Dr Seuss said "one fish, two fish" etc. and I don't think the species was relevant.
What Dr Seuss says, goes :dnc1:
I saw Killing Them Softly starring Brad Pitt over the weekend, not bad.
Also watching Walking Dead season 2 - getting a bit emotional for me :cry1:
And Sherlock - the UK series, not sure if it screened here - stars Martin Freeman.
I think that was the case - I did phone and the person I spoke to was surprised it wasn't up there. However it has finally gone up on their FB page 2 hours ago, so that's something I guess
Incidentally - there wasn't much "aqua" in their Aqua Maynia newsletter, it was mainly cats and dog stuff again.
I was "cleaning" the filter weekly as the flow would slow down after only a few days - so each weekend I'd open up the filter to see what was what and it was still very clean, including the filter wool. After trying the wool in different baskets (top or bottom) and finding that the flow would slow regardless. I decided to remove the wool and see if that helped, and it has - the filter has been running for 3 weeks and the flow is still strong. So, it would seem it doesn't like filter wool at all which is why I'm looking at other alternatives for media.
Yes I am using the sponges around the outside. I'll look at getting some more sponge for a basket (finer sponge than the outside sponges) but am reluctant to use wool at all - i tried various types and they all slowed the flow down.
I have an FX5 and it simply hates filter wool, it doesn't matter which compartment I put it in as it slows the flow down in days. I'm currently running it with just one basket of noodles so am looking to get some other types of media (as wool clearly won't work) but maybe if placed on top of noodles it may make a difference as you've done? I'll investigate that.
I do have some bio balls but I think they're too big, I'll have to have a looksie this weekend - I might get some sintered glass noodles as a change to the ceramic for another basket as well.
This was emailed to me - it's just a pic I think as there's no link anywhere, but when I go to their website to view more of the fish deals, I can't find it anywhere - only their May newsletter which is specials for dogs and cats only. It's the same on their FB page.
I don't understand why the email a pic, which doesn't list all the specials - and it's not clickable :fshi:
FB apps are a terrible timewaster. I used to play one called Fairyland and I'd be on it just about all day and late into the night - but it's nothing but a complete timewaster so I got rid of it. I looked at Farmville but hated the look of the characters as all those apps seems to have - small bodies and big heads, hideous creatures!
I don't do much on the net now - browse a few forums, check Stuff and TM etc. but don't waste time on it anymore. Most of my time on the PC is offline playing Tomb Raider custom levels (not at the mo though).
I sometimes wonder why I'm paying $55.95 a month for something I rarely use :dno:
