Is that the one with the brothers being Gods? I watched two episodes and canned it, didn't grab me at all - I think when it went on about the youngest brother needing to shag some girl for some stupid reason, it just put me off. Ridiculous story. Just watched a few minutes of episodes on youtube, it doesn't grab me so will delete from queue.

The plot of Kingdom Hospital was essentially the same for both countries too, but they have a very different way of portraying it so worth watching both I think. With Kingdom Hospital I watched the US version first, and then the Danish. The US was weird but in a way I understood, and better portrayed I thought - whereas the Danish version (when I watched that next) was just too weird for words and rather boring. I think the US version helped by having side stories to make it more interesting. And yet many preferred the Danish version to the US :dno:

I haven't seen the US version yet, I was told to watch the Danish version first because it's better so here's hoping. I preferred the US version of Kingdom Hospital to the Danish version though so we'll see :f77:

Nup, not funny - same with the Archers thing (which was beyond terrible).

Someone recommended that to me but it's no good? Hmmm, ok - I always check out trailers on youtube first before I watch anything anyway.

Looks like Tiny has come up against the same thing - this seller has 60 fish and wants to sell the whole set up, tank and all in one hit - it will be interesting to see how it goes.... :spop:

I've had the fish for years though.

Luckily for me it's only been for short amount of times that power has been off so I cover the tanks with blankets. Though some parts of Wgtn have had no power for days so blankets wouldn't really cut it. I wonder how power cuts affect those people who are dependent on power, such as the woman who was plugged into a respirator (I think it was) - there was a huge uproar when the power company disconnected them for unpaid bills, yet what would happen in a power cut - too bad lady? I wonder if there's some sort of system in place if you have dependents who require power to live that you could be reconnected somehow or they have a back up system?

I filled it with water in the hope I wouldn't have to pump the silly thing forever but it didn't work. One quick suck got it going though so I'm away laughing - thanks everyone Oh, and it's very quiet - so I'm very happy :thup:

I got a new Sun Sun filter and filled it with water, turned it on and it just rattles - no water flow at all. Pumping the button caused a few bubbles to come out of the outlet pipe but that's it. The manual says to pump the button (not sure how often or how long for) and "apply electricity" and I assume it should just go. :dno:

On a cold, wet, day.... I am staying home. Made it to the gym this morning and with buses replacing trains, flooding, debris on the roads etc. etc. - decided to go back home. I bought a new cannister filter I could set up today, but might just do some raiding instead

I was told that regular dog or cat worming tablets do the trick - just crush one up with some blood worms and drop in the tank. Apparently someone did this who had discus with worms and it fixed them up a treat. I have used the bird wormer and it killed all my fish so wouldn't touch it again.

How indeed. One of my fish had a parasite when nothing had been introduced either - it just happens :dunno:

That's very sad news - sorry to hear that I'm always paranoid that my heaters will fail so regularly touch the tanks to check the temp.
