I like LDR and haven't heard that song, and sorry, I hate the remixes. That's unusual for me to say as I usually like remixes over the original of most songs but not LDR at all. Currently listening to "kiwi summer music" - UB40

Um, may not have seen that yet :dno: I have noticed the characters are becoming very cold - no longer is there the warm fuzzies from the first 2 seasons. I saw After Earth, I thought there was new and interesting plants and animals on Earth that would make it worth the watch but nope, just the usual stuff you'd find in a rainforest so unsure why its classed "category 1, do not go there" or whatever - we had monkeys before too - ooo scary! :facepalm:

I don't know, he hallucinated a conversation on the phone with his dead wife, and he's very intense - he gets right in people's faces, I hate that.

Many movies have an extra scene at the end these days, I always let the credits roll now just to check. I watched World War Z - it was good fun, though a little ridiculous. Also finished watching Boardwalk Empire season 2, I knew the ending unfortunately as I read a spoiler inadvertently damn it. Started Walking Dead season 3 - it started with a hiss and a roar, the first 10 mins of the first episode was all action and no dialogue - excellent Even the boy is now carrying a gun and shooting zombies - he's progressed from someone who needed constant saving to helping out so he can stay.

About to start Walking Dead season 3, finishing Boardwalk Empire season 2 and got Star Trek: Into Darkness to watch as well :bggrn:

The American's Cup thing is a lark. Both boats were built in NZ, both boats were tweaked by kiwis and yet somehow the Americans won with nary a yank in sight. :dno:

Wow! :fshi: I started watching the US version - it's absolutely identical right down to the clothes so no point carrying on. I saw Taken 2 over the weekend - terrible movie, don't bother.

I get it once a year in June/July only - no idea what triggers it at that time of year as I don't get it in the traditional months. I've come to learn that the drugs simply don't work (nor the injection) so think I just have to wait it out until it passes which is very frustrating. The ear piercing thing is interesting - though the acupressure points for the head is located around the lobe, not the top of the ear so it's rather odd it worked for your friend in that area.

I've got hay fever and have had it since 21 July, the usual drugs don't work so I got the hay fever shot on Monday and so far it hasn't worked. I'm sick of coughing, I'm sick of blowing my nose and I'm sick of being deaf in my right ear (as it's blocked up) :an!gry Anyone else get hay fever and found anything that works for them??

I decided The Killing (Danish version anyway) was not worth the 20 hours it took which could have been solved in 1.5 hour telemovie, without all the mush. Not sure if I'll bother watching the US version.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know they received just as much damage as Wgtn did - yes it must be awful for them that the media didn't pick up on that.

And it was still based at Lyttleton and yet no-one made a song and dance about this fact when it was called the "CHCH earthquake" so why jump up and down about it being the "Wgtn earthquake" - who cares?

And CHCH claimed the one that hit Lyttleton - why is everyone making such a fuss about this?

Don't think there's any need with the series we got this morning - the strongest was 3.7

That was 2 days ago. Anyway, I have one tank that always has green water too and don't feed whatever it is you said you feed yours. I put it down to: Plants - it's the only planted tank I have and/or Sunlight - the sun streams through into this particular room and tank, so probably an algae bloom. There is black algae growing in that tank too so I think it's an algae problem.

Put something in that tank, the poor fish are naked :fshi:
