I didn't realise that censoring was not acceptable - I tried to find the T&Cs but they were unavailable so took a stab as censored terms are generally accepted in any media forum - newspapers etc. and yes, they're also available for children to read. If I'd know that implied swearing was unacceptable, I wouldn't have made that mistake but the point is, I was making a point about the use of the term. In this instance, the word had to be used in some form for the story to make sense - it was probably a mistake or oversight by the original poster to not censor the term but without it, the story wouldn't have made any sense - so if censoring the term isn't acceptable, how could the story have been told? I think in some situations the whole intention of the term in the post should be taken into account. Ollijoi wasn't swearing or insulting anyone but quoting what someone had said to him. In some instances, the admin team have broken the rules themselves by allowing links to members selling items - you can't make rules and then break them willy nilly if there's exception for some but not others. It's embarrassing enough to realise you'd made a faux pas (I can't believe jollioli and Southerngrrrl did what they did deliberately to offend anyone) and then for everyone to know that you were told off for it - yes, that part is ott and I would expect it to be mentioned for repeated breach of the rules, not a first time offence. chill Warren - Jollioli could have said Mod=Warren: Implied swearing removed - warning sent and we would have figured it out - a simple edit by you could have sorted that but a warning is ott - as is southerngrrrl's post of quoting jollioli. My poor fighter has now contracted this - I used tonic and it seems to be working as the fluff around his mouth is now literally hanging on by a thread so is falling off? I wonder if I should do more though and would be keen to hear other's experiences of this disease and how they treated it successfully.

Well that's just it, they don't seem to eat anything else - I tried microworms but they're not interested. I also tried bettamin but they don't like that either. Crisps are too big for their mouths and they don't eat it and I don't know what decap shrimp are. They don't seem to like daphnia either. @ Adodge - what is bbs? @ Mark, I remember your suggestion from before, I must give that a go.

I generally feed mine bloodworms, brine shrimp and sometimes red flake - they seem fussy though so would like some suggestions on what else to feed them.

What do you mean "give them time"? Keep adding them daily and see if they eventually start to eat them? One of my fighters eats microworms as he was fed them by his previous owner, yet he's not bothering with mine.

Are khuli loaches catfish? Well I've got 6 if they are and: 1x female bronze cory 3x peppered cories (family of Mum, Dad and baby) 1x female BN

Course there is, pull them out and put them in a bucket of water if you have to.

I have cultured some microworms to give my fish a bit of a treat but none of them eat them - I thought fish loved them :-?

Woke up early by a text coming in at 7am (that'll learn me for not turning cell off overnight) - put washing on and hung it out. Decided to skip the gym as such a great morning (and would rain the next few days so wanted to make the most of the good weather) and had breaky outside on my new outdoor table and chair set. Looked at playing some Tomb Raider but couldn't be naffed dealing with mummies. Looked at buying a female Siamese fighter on TM but none are advertised in Wgtn area. Read a good book, took cat to the vet to get weeping eye looked at. Had an ice-block outside reading book again and then got into the Coronas and now....here I am - typing up an email while listening to Morcheeba, but got distracted by the net

They are definitely eating them - as the leaf is gone the next day with bite marks remaining - if it was the dollars eating the plants, the plant would be gone overnight. But the dollars don't show any interest in the plants. I'm not sure what sex my angels are - how can you tell? (I have 2)

Sorry to hear about this Phoenix - I lost a tank of fish due to introducing two new fish which must have been diseased - I was gutted so understand what you're going through

Yes, they're nibbling on the plants, I have seen them and yelling at the tank doesn't make them stop, lol. I have googled and read of others who have angels that do the same - completely devouring plants on occasion. I had to remove one of my plants as they wouldn't leave it alone. They're in with silver dollars who don't touch the plants (well not these ones anyway) - weird huh? Apparently, it's a cichlid thing, as cichlids are naughty and destructive.

But I didn't do anything else since I posted - not even another water change. What's more, I've had other fish in that tank and have cleaned it more thoroughly than that - to the point of removing filter and doing a severe gravel clean and none of them became sick. He's also developed ich when other fish in the tank haven't - so as I said: I don't understand this wee fish.
