    We now have four new 6 week old pullets. They are very active, noisy and they eat out of your hand.

    I tried JBL algol. It did not harm the fish or plants (As stated) but did not seem to kill any algae.

    I have black sand in my 60 30 30 and it looks great. I got some expensive aquaone stuff but I guess river sand would be fine. I dont have any trouble growing plants in just sand and it is not too hard to keep clean.

    all pet shops in nelson have neons at about $4.

    Not sure. A month or two ago I got 2 male and 4 female swords. Now I ended up with 4 male and two female swords.

    I know the species will cross breed I justy dont know how easy it is. I guess I w2ill just buy a blue platy and see what happens. I will keep everyone updated.

    So If I was to try and breed it with a blue platy could the resulting fry turn out to be blue swordtail x platy or would I need a fully white albino sword? Also is it hard to cross swords and platies?

    I got this swordtail but is it even albino? It has red eyes.

    lilaeopsis novae zelandiae seems to be very common in pet shops.

    I heard you can cross a blue platy with an albino sword to get blue swordtails (x platy). If I were to try this which fish should be male and which female? The albino (red eye) swords I have seen in the pet shops seem to have a bit of pineapple colouring in them, is this ok? Any other tips would be greatly appriciated. I will quarenteen the females for several months so if they are already pregnant they will have those fry first.

    Good point but I assume it is more quality over quantity and an age to quality ratio would also be factored in.

    I think the competition should only be open to those with a (J) next to their name in the yearbook LOL *jokes* :lol: .

    I seem to be the only one with a (J) for junior next to my name in the year book but now I know there are at least 5 (including me)

    Not mental age. does anyone know what age classes somone as a junior member?

    No I would still write one. I just wanted to know what the competition was like. And even if there were lots I doubt they would all write one.

    Most clubs have family fees, adult fees and junior fees. I am not sure what exactly the age range is but I am 14 and a junior member.

    How many FNZAS junior members are there? Because I was thinking of writing an article for the simtronics junior cup but am unsure of how many others there were. Thanks.

    I have a 2 degrees sim in my old vodaphone phone and it works fine. Apparently some need a bit of setup but it tells you how to do that on the 2 degrees website.

    I used zebra danios but I dont have the results of the test on me at the moment. They were varied but I will post them when I have them.

    UPDATE: Well I decided to do the schooling idea in the end. The results were mixed but I ended getting second in the school year 10 science fair biology section and I think I am getting $30 prize money. Thanks for all the ideas .

    I have a whole book of funny signs. The only New Zealand one in it is a sign for te puke. It says "come and taste Te Puke".
