The fish store shouldnt have been selling fish from the tank in the first place if they had any sort of credability most fish stores i go to put a sign on the tank saying none are for sale untill the problem has been resolved.But in saying that i look carefully before i buy as its not worth risking all your healthy fish for a new purchase.

Yes thats very sad as well but when it came to who had a bigger impact that would be micheal by far but either way its still very sad as they were both still young.

Just heard the sad news about Micheal Jackson passing away from a massive heart attack such a shame.

look if we are honest the moari's are failing miserably at primary and secondary schools as it is. so i dont see how throwing them into university is going to help as the work is allot harder there so if they are failing at the lower levels how the heck are they going to cope at a much higher level.its not fair on them or anyone else.they need to go through the same process as everyone else in this country

YEA THERE GREAT i put two ham hocks in there with water let them cook all day then i grate potates carrots parsnip pumpkin corgettes and thinly sliced onions and leeks sweat them off in a big pot then add the stock that ya hocks were cooked in and lastely break off all the meat and add that. taste and season with salt pepper and good pinch of chicken stock and its beut.

yep i have seen them before but it was a while ago....they were at the goldfish bowl but would of been at least 3 yrs ago

great thanks for that i will add heart to the menue of prawns and bloodworms.i used to make my own food out of heart banana spinich chopped shrimps and peas with sheels removed then mix it through a thick poridge (with no salt) then spread it on oven trays and freeze it then i could wrap it up and just break what i needed off maybe i should make some more.

can someone please give me some sugestions as to whats some good foods for my koura and torrent fish bullies and inanga.i was thinking of a bit of flake blood worms and some chopped shrimp but other suggestions would be welcome as i have never kept natives before

i would go with a herd of elephant noses around 6 and a nice school of yellow tail congo tetras and some gymnogeophagus balzanis and red humps and for good mesure some khuli loaches and cory's along the bottom oh and some pleco's of the smaller size.....there i think that should about do it.

look a suggest ya read the book to get a better understanding of both of them i thought the same of terry but after reading the book i have learnt a whole lot like she was into helping wildlife and doing allot to save cougars back in america long long befopre she met steve and she has the same passion for it she just didnt come across the same thats all.as for the money they used what they made to buy land to precerve the homes of endangered species for example some 800 hectares to preserve for the tasmanian devil.but what terry did say is when they did look at what land to buy steve always tried to find some that had good surf as he was mad keen on it...but i would hardly call that greedy.honestly read the book its very good and there is some quite funny stuff in there he was a real character.

i disagree i think the way attenbourgh talks is fantastic and as for steve irwin maybe you miss took his enthusiasm for ott but if you read the book by his wife terry you will understand that it is nothhing more than pure passion for wildlife and its preservation and in my opinion we need more like him.i would totally recomend the book it gives you a fantastic insight into the man and terry as well i never really liked her much but after reading this book i have a whole new outlook of her.another thing about him was everything he made went back into wildlife etc how many of us would be that selfless?

no dont think so watched a doco on him not long ago and he said he's not ready to retire as there are still allot of things he wants to do.

i have a dozen Sterbai's but my favourite is the adolfoi's not sure of the spelling also the pygmy cory's are cool as well

Sorry but David Attenborough leaves them all for dead he is far better than them and he's the one who started the whole nature doco's as well.i actually watched a documentary on him was very interesting.The new guys are all the same they all apear to be trying to be the next steve irwin who they will never be and i would rate him right up there with David but these other guys are just pretenders.But i do like the fact that he is going after creatures etc that havn't been in the spotlight so to speak as allot of the animal stuff you see has been done countless times before by many different people.
