JUST RING AROUND YOUR LOCAL FISH SHOPS.WHAT WOULD BE RARE IS IF ONE OF THEM DIDNT HAVE THEM AS THEY ARE COMMON...IF THEY DONT HAVE ANY IN STOCK ASK THEM TO CHECK THE WHOLESALERS LISTS AND THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO ORDER THEM IN FOR YOU.

I would like to have a go at breeding my twig catfish was wandering if anyone has any tips or experience in doing this also will try and breed royal whips.

I WOULD USE SOMETHING LIKE CRYP BALANSAE ITS A TALLER SKINNIER CRYP BUT VERY NICE.

ok i no i have read sumfin before about what flouro's to use but cant find it....so what bulb should i get for my 2ft deep planted tank? plants are growiung nicely but the bulb is about 5 yrs old...yes i hear you laughing...but i like the colour of it as it brings out the blues in my fish and its not to bright and at nite my tank looks amazing.have looked in the goldfish bowl but the flouro's are abut 45 bucks.any ideas i no i can get from bunnigs but not sure what coulour or spec's etc

yea most pet shops have them just ring a few first they are cool fish but if you do they will need somewhere to hide ie a cave or under some drift wood they are nocturnal but soon as food especially blood worms are put in there out in a flash....im looking at getting half a dozen and starting my own herd :lol:

what about an elephant nose? it wont eat the neons and it gets around that size and its a bit different.

I watched your peice on cambell live last nite mate, and i really hope there is someone out there who can step up and help you out it seems such a shame for it to come to an end. You both have poured your heart and soul's into not only the park but the animals and i for one admire you for it. Such careing people like you are very rare in this day and age and if the park does sell i hope something better come's of it as you both deserve it. Chin up theres lots of people behind you.

with cichlids you will normally get some agression between them when a new one is introduced. they have a pecking order and the incumbant fish is just letting him no whos top dog in the tank but keep an eye on the bullied fish as sometimes they can be killed but normally they sort it out without someone dying but if it does look like hes on a hiding to nothing you may need to seperate him.hope this helps

you could try the dwarf chain loach im pretty sure they will do the trick and they only stay small and are quite attractive as well but if you do i would get at least half a dozen as they are social little things that enjoy interacting together.

yea thats them...well if someone is breeding let me no as keen as on buying some.will try and get some pic's she is very shy.it has been living in cold water no heater at all for the past two years as i had fire bellied newts in there and had it set up as a terrerium and forgot he was in there when i done it goes to show how hardy they can be as there were a few frosts over that time

i have a normal ancistrua and the common whiptail but i also have a rubber lip pleco which i have had for about 8 years has anyone seen any in shops as i would like to get more? also is the snowball pleco still around?

i collect them from a stream on farland about ten minutes out from ragaln.all i do is run a net through the weed and normally i get 20-30 on each sweep.try and run your net under the over hanging weed as this is where you will get the greatest success.good luck
