  1. Yes, I don't tend to do most things on a small budget, but I'm sure it can be done somehow. :dunno: As for plant ideas, I'm sure we can work something out after the meeting next Sunday. There are a few people that might be able to throw some ideas around as well.

  14. It grows sideways in higher light. It must be happy to do that, but mine goes bright red / pink under my lights.
  15. When I do planted tanks I always go nuts stocking the tank with plants. Makes managing the tank much, much easier.
  16. Hi everyone, Our club will be holding it's monthly meeting on the 29th of May at 1pm at the Highbury Whanau Centre. This month we will be having our SGM followed by a presentation / talk about the different types of aquarium filtration and media. Perhaps we can settle the Eheim vs. Fluval debate once and for all! :slfg: As always we welcome all new members, and anyone from other clubs. If any one has any thing to trade or sell; let us know now. Some of our members have had some fantastic breeding reports recently! :happy1: We look forward to seeing you all soon!
  17. It came in as a pictus. Where would I put it Fraser?
  18. Hystrix would have been a total fluke. It was being sold as a common pleco but no one bought it. No pics; I would hardly go around with a camera :slfg: They'd think I'm a freak! :tears:
