  2. lol. everyone came out of their rooms sniffing cause they wanted to know what was cooking. pity they have to eat dirty sausages for dinner.
  3. 50% of it is over ha ha ha ha :bounce: I think i could easily eat the other half but that would be gluttonous of me. I don't think i can move for the next 2 hours
  4. not 100% sure but around the $8-10 mark I think. like most things, cheaper in some places than others, so i recommend shopping around before you buy. also ask to see if any one on here, breeds them locally.
  5. lots of plants is one of the best ways to make a great tank look fantastic. :bounce: PS- that means, show us your tank ,lol :bounce:
  6. I think a dozen of the threadfins will be OK in a tank that size.
  7. the threadfins are really small, so when you see them, you will automatically be inclined to get more than you had originally intended to. the neon blues are more expensive, but look really nice in groups of 5-6 or more.
  8. ...and I get to eat it all on my own :bounce: celebrating the completion of a terrible assignment  The pig out starts soon!
  9. see if you like the neon blue dwarf rainbows, and the thread fin rainbow. http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/rainbow ... rfneon.php and http://www.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk/p ... cle_id=235
  10. Im sure "MR. Inquisitive" (that's what i call him cause of the way he looks at me) won't mind lol. he is soooo cute!! :bounce:
  11. good goin aqua/ some native geckos are beautiful! like those green ones! try getting your license and then give them a go.
  12. oh wow. that corkscrew val does look really nice indeed! :bounce: have you seen threadfin rainbows? they are one of my all time favourite small fish. V entertaining to watch if you have a nice group of them.
  13. red lotus? I didnt want to even think of guessing that! how did you manage to find that? :bounce:
  14. hush... shh.. people are watching! welcome back. long time no post lol
  15. it will not mix into the gravel, like different pebbles can be mixed together. its like dust underwater and the slightest of movement can stir it up - so you have to place a layer of it at the base, and then cover it with gravel or sand. also beware of algae problems, though I have not had that problem - many others have. the lighting you need depends on what you want to grow. most will recommend 6500K-10000K. I like 18000K as all my plants have done brilliantly under that light - mind you, you pay a lot for those tubes. if you have a LOT of plants, you don't need to siphon the gravel. just your normal water changes will suffice. HTH
  16. I dont think they would care to be honest.
  17. what about some dwarf gouramis?
  18. I ahve not forgotten~! lol was going to check on sat cause im finally working then! and by working i mean having fun

  20. Im going to call mine Diablo. We can get them from different places HaNs, and then they can produce lille lambo diablos for us, lol Caching! :bounce:
  21. if you clean it should be ok. plastic is used to store chems for a good reason. warm water washes/ rinses should remove any chemical residues.
  22. I'm sure i marked a few reptile bulb prices down and put them in a bulk bin. made them cheap as chips too 8) there might be one that fits in a standard bulb holder.
