+1 Yes. I did not think that any one would consider importing on their own. The best option would be to use an existing importer unless the persons pockets are very deep and you are willing to make a massive loss. :lol:

Thanks for pursuing this. Im sure the FNZAS can assist as much as is possible. Importing them from Singapore would be your best bet. The other thing to bear in mind, is that MAF do not need to prove that there is a credible threat to NZ biosecurity with them importation of this organism, but is to prove that there is NIL/ no credible threat at all.

did you use a de-chlorinator, cause Im sure I read a thing about some of chch getting chlorine added to the water.

didn't see this post till now. the slime coat has worn off. chuck some salt in with him. the water should be pristine to make sure it doesn't get infected. if you have melafix - use it, I think it works, but many think its useless.

yes. no milk for birds. insects will also give him a temp boost if he needs it. (you don't have to chew them like I did). honey too. but if its strong you may not need it. just keep em warm.

I have a Nokia e75 and a Nokia 5800 and a Nokia n81 8gb :lol: The keypad on the e63 is absolutely terrible. and i mean terrible. really, its hard to press 1 button at a time unless you are some sort of a midget or have midget hands - which you don't so would find it a right pain. the camera on the 63 can be grainy too

oh good. At least this tank is not like 7or 8 feet high! Looks nice, but hopefully they will put some more fish in there after a few months.

look for 865 tubes I think is what they are called. 8 means t8 and 65 is 6500K That should be crisp white they are about $5 - $10

5ft. yeah should not be hard at all. I mean the smartest thing to do would be to start the tank, plant everything, let them establish and then add the discus in. so you should have enough time to play with your options.
