Just spread the fert balls evenly but save 5 or so for a rainy day in-case you decide to add crypts or swords at a later date. That plant looks like Hygrophilia corymbosa stricta.

wow. That is tiny! Give them a couple of fert balls. Twisted val is more resilient to excel than straight val species. Everything is fine with comprehensive.

So you want to add soda to your tank? Sure you can do it. Whether or not your fish survive is another question. pH will crash drastically and you'll kill your fish. Carbonic acid and all.

No problemo. I processed all the subs on the same day to make accounting easier for the FNZAS treasurer Jane. Thanks should go to caryl for printing the mags and sending them so fast! People that join the club now will be accounted for individually.

some can, some cant and wont. they won't normally hybridise if they can choose their own partners. Cool looking fish though.

Send me your contact details Mark. They reckon 2 pins + a fig 8 bandage is the way to go to ensure the bones heal in the right position. Will be better for rehab as well. Vet is happy to talk to you and discuss options. She is happy for the bird to be treated in TGA - can advice vet in TGA what to do; or bird can be sent down here and can treat it here which would probably be the best option.

Was it a new tank? It's under warranty if it is. Get it all replaced / repaired.

That is really very sad to hear. He was a big, beautiful fish that's for sure. If you can help it next time, try not couriering a discus that big - They don't handle it well.

All Natives are 100% funded for by the govt., (especially something as precious as this) so they should organise transport; either to my place or the clinic directly. I have saved this pic of the xray and will ask to speak to Brett tomorrow.
