haha Alan! I had a look online last night but couldn't find a very descriptive site showing how to ID, but admittedly I did only look for 5 minutes maybe after footy training tonight or tomorrow night will have another go and try to find out.

Just been trimming my jungle of a 2 ft and have discovered a long stalk with some flowers at the end growing out of my dwarf sag! Nothing spectacular but has given me a real buzz! yay! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Hi Barrie, Have you tried squirting the Flourish Excel directly onto it via a syringe. Also, are you using "Flourish" or "Flourish Excel" because the ordinalry Flourish is different stuff and often confused. If you only have Flourish, I could drop around some excel on the weekend?

will they flower if its just a standard tank with no lid? ie, get big and start growing out of the water?

Not at all One of the reasons I went open top is I want to try and get some of my plants flowering, but as the substrate is about 40 cm from the water level I dont know which plants will do it for me!
