Who on here has any Apisto's? If so, what types? It seems that there are not too many varieties around at the moment. Have seen Cockatoo's, Trifasciata, Agassizi, Borellii (look to be steel blues) advertised recently but nothing else.

How essential is rainwater to breeding/spawning neons?

As Flosty has said, you may struggle to keep PH stable due to buffering. Definitely source some rainwater as you will have success bringing your Ph down with the method you are trying. I had some success spawning and hatching Rummy Nose tetras with the advice of the article off here. (Same as per neons and Cardinal tetras). Good luck. -

As per title. $30 for the Apisto's and $30 for the 3 blue rams. (am unsure as to the sex of these). Can deliver in Hamilton area or post North and South Islands.

Cool Karina. That fish looks like a female... Note the blue sheen within the dark spot... Males don't have that sheen within the dark spot. Looks to b growing well :thup:

Hey Edward. I think I am just dreaming really as I just don't really have the tank space at the moment so will have to hold off for the moment. You should still get some so I can buy some off you in the future :lol: I really like the look of the Alenque. Not often we get a different Apisto here in NZ.
