    Betta Pugnax

Was just curious if anyone knows anything about these? Are they available in NZ?? :bounce:
  8. im soooo jealous! You've done a FANTASTIC job Stella! I can't wait to get into natives, they're my next project!
  9. lol yeah a kiwi would be cool *have seen them in the wild*
  10. is that a guinea pig?? lol jokes. kinda looks like you'd crush it if ya hugged it! im scared of monkeys and anything like monkeys... but they're actually cute but my cats would eat it or try to!! My Falcon's would definitely eat it 8) and my squirrels would think it's some sort of mouldy hazelnut...... that moves and squeeks....
  11. Don't know if this has been posted before, I got the idea from the monkey post! If allowed, what species of animals/fish would you keep that currently isn't in NZ and why?? You're idea's can't be extinct and they must be proven to exist (so, not bigfoot's or yeti's, aliens etc) I'd keep Harris Hawks & Peregrines to use in Falconry and Hawking. Sticklebacks coz they're cute annnnd Red Squirrels coz they're cute too. Ohk, have fun! :bounce:
  12. Xnet is the cheapest and the best You control everything, the price, the GB's you get, you can change it at anytime its all custom, fast and generally the best all round I've found, we've also gone with them for the phone line and its cheap, reliable and has amazing over seas calling rates
  13. Agree with Stella, freshwater shrimp stress in tropical climates. Can be adjusted but wouldn't recommend it. There aren't any freshwater prawns that occur naturally in NZ waters. A thing to watch when you get them is a lot of water treatments can kill them. All the best with the hunt I have 20 odd in my coldwater tank and they're awesome little creatures. :bounce:
  14. Congratulations Stella!! Hehe thats so awesome! :bounce:
  15. Goldfish require 25L of water EACH just to maintain good health. I think 4 in your tank would be over-stocking. Goldfish are also vigorous plant eaters, though there some plant species they will not eat. You may need to trial and error. I forgot all the plant names of the ones in my tank but I have a goldfish tank thats planted and they don't touch the plants. Anyway I hope this helps all the best. :bounce:
  16. Does it work now??? I changed it... it should be posted now... I put in the wrong link to start with
