  1. The died of old age in the 3 years this thread had been dead and buried until you dug it up.

    Freshwater shrimps

Shrimp pellets? Seriously, if they're anything like saltwater glass shrimp with 30 of them I'd have thought it would be more of a worry about getting food to the fish before the shrimp steal it.
  3. Shouldn't take a day or two unless you miss the cutoff for the overnight processing.
  4. Usually any day that doesn't end in a Y.
  5. You don't need to know what bank it is to transfer money, do you?
  6. "Bug" works for me when I'm not being pedantic...

  8. It'll take the surinamensis three years or so to grow to full size. My last one that died I'd had since he was about an inch long. He was 300mm long when he died. They're one of my favorite fish.
  9. I suppose Apple isn't any worse than April, June, Iris, Fern, Rose, etc all of which are reasonably common names.
  10. There is an auction on trademe for 300-400 KGs of artificial slate and rocks made from concrete and pumice...
  11. You sure it's the stand and not the floor that's warped?
  12. I got in about 7:15 am and at 2pm without a problem. Didn't try between.
  13. As of 2:15pm I have the ONLY post on the board on the 30th...
  14. Craneflies? I'd consider those to be more of a big bug. Those aren't even insects, let alone true bugs which most insects aren't. Cut from wikipedia: Hemiptera is an order of insects, comprising around 80,000 species of cicadas, aphids, planthoppers, leafhoppers, shield bugs, and others, collectively known as the true bugs.
  15. There are approximately 5,000 dragonfly species, 20,000 grasshopper, 170,000 butterfly and moth, 120,000 fly, 360,000 beetle, and 110,000 bee, wasp and ant species described to date. Almost all of those can fly. Many could be described as small. Your description leaves us with approximately 785,000 possibilities. So, either give us some information that approaches even vaguely detailed or google "fruit fly".
  16. It'll burn the moss before it hurts the heater.
  17. I got mine at Pak N Save, I think.
  18. How about we have a couple pages dedicated to pictures of peoples fish with captions on them? We'll call them lolcatfish.
  19. That should be TPIWWOP. This Post Is Worthless Without Pictures.
  20. You learned incorrectly. Those teeth with all the cavities they're pulling out ARE the sweet tooth(s)
  21. I learned...Or relearned since it obviously didn't take last month, that I need to carry get a copy of my car key to put in my wallet...
  22. Most likely what will happen if you turn on a radio on the same frequency someone else is on is that their plane will go nuts and crash. Then they'll find you and depending on who it is they'll either break all you fingers and then take you to court for $500+ damages and have you charged with something like destruction of property, or if you're really lucky they won't break your fingers.
  23. Why would I? There's very few people on 35 mhz and none that I know of on 35.04.
  24. Like I said, free floating algae, green water. Otherwise as far as algae goes it does nothing. Diseases like ich it can help a bit, but you're better off not getting it in the first place.
