Not on the import list though* *Assuming it came in correctly identified.

Hard to say exactly, but there are a handful of possibilities, a bunch of similar looking rasboras. Brilliant Rasbora? Just checked, Rasbora einthovenii is on the import list.

Possibly because you're linking them from practicalfishkeeping.co.uk's attachments and it's unlikely they allow hotlinking. You probably see them because you have an active session on that forum.

I can only assume the tank looks nice since none of the pics work. :slfg:
  7. Given that there appears to be a "Moral duty" for a will to provide fairly to family members it could be argued that there is a defacto right to it.
  8. Not really. Not really. Some plants and not overfeeding is about it.
  9. I'd suspect that's probably a good size, I think you're probably better off with a larger number of small-medium voids rather than a smaller number of larger ones. More surface area with more smaller ones.
  10. Leaves holes in the rock once it dissolves for increased surface area and porosity.
  11. I haven't found that to be the case as long as they have room and cover.
  12. Most people I know use their phones. Standalone GPSes are getting to be obsolete.
  13. I wouldn't worry about bubble traps for a FW tank, probably wouldn't even bother with them for a saltwater if you have a good sized sump. Getting rid of that will simplify a good chunk, the rest looks good.
  14. I was in paying the dog rego and saw the UH city council is selling 200L rainwater tanks+diverter for $100. Seems like a good price, I don't know if anyone needs one or if there are any requirements like living in Upper Hutt if they are subsidizing them. I don't need one, but thought someone might be interested. Oh, looks to be identical to this setup off trademe which is $210:
  15. It's not bad so far, very much more towards the drama end of the spectrum than action or thriller end.

    Size of Fish

How tiny is so small it wasn't funny? It'd be nice to see relatively mature fish(And good looking) sold in shops, but that's obviously very rare.
  18. Also I'm not sure you can say "Continue to rescue" since she hasn't rescued any successfully yet. :slfg:
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not moving his left pectoral fin, it's mashed up against the glass in your pic. I certainly wouldn't worry about seeing 1 fish, once a week flashing on rocks. How often do you scratch? Do you have parasites?
  20. Nitrates or nitrites? This is an important detail. :sage: Nitrates means you need to do water changes. Nitrites means you're not finished cycling.
  21. Why wouldn't that be right? The temp settings on heaters are rubbish unless they've been calibrated. It sounds like you haven't done that, so you have a 150w heater set and noclueC and another set at noclueC. You should never set a heater at the temp you want on it and then assume your tank is that temp.

    Brown sludge

You get rid of it by rinsing the sponges and media occasionally. :slfg:
