  1. So I went flying with a friend today and took some photo's. It is a 20mi. radius around our house. Hokitika aerodrome taking off 3 Mile looking north to Arahura bridge Lake Mahinapua looking south to Ross
  2. I put this here because it is not available to general public. So no one can send the link to the GP I am talking about. But I needed to know where to turn to. Now I know. Thanks. It can be left or deleted.
  3. I say anything you can afford, and can confirm is an actual pair. Not many people have bred other plecos. But there are enough to call on if they put their hands up, or you contact them through the year book,
  4. I grew them one year. They are a great addition to stews etc. Kind of an acquired taste. Definitely not unpleasant though.
  5. Thanks. I went to my GP to start and was stone walled.
  6. As the title states: How do you go about complaining about a GP?
  7. Oh, of course. I figured you would have the stand/get it made locally. We are clearly not on the same frequency roflcopter.
  8. Seeing as you are not hobbits and the tank sits on the stand rather than being attached/fixed to it, how does the door figure into this equation? Wouldn't you just make the tank the width of the doorway, or the width when you take the door off its hinges. And carry it in after the stand is in place?
  9. The small piece is 700mm long x 550 tall x 330 thick and weighs about 10kg. The large piece is 1300mm long x 700 tall x 650 deep and weighs about 70-80kg.

  12. Oh I made beef brisket stew tonight in the slow cooker. With carrots, parsnips and garlic. Had it with Mashed potato that had dijon mustard and cheese through it. Oh so delicious. Now I am carrying a food baby.
  13. That is such a cool story. I am starting to love these stories of budgies. So glad your bird is alright, and that your Mum cares so much for him!
  14. With all these fantastic pairs of Starlights around the country I sure do hope some kind fish keepers put some effort into breeding them and selling the offspring. I believe it is better to share these wonderful fish instead of having them ferreted away in one persons corner. Rox they are great, thanks so much for sharing.
  15. So wicked cool. I need to take the chain saw with me next time to get a stump with all the roots attached. You totally have to visit next time your over!
  16. I got a couple of nice pieces of driftwood today for my tanks. Somehow I don't think I am going to boil this one. I can see it becoming a nice home for a Royal Panaque. There is a tunnel going the length of the wood.
  17. I recommend (if you have not yet got one) a water filter. There is a lot of crud that is on your roof, and that is in rain. In our area there is too much coal soot on the roof to use the rain water.
  18. Cultivate it well my friend, I want a pup sooner rather than later
  19. I heard, 3rd party of course, that annoying cats like the spca...... roflcopter j/k
