  12. well have a tank 2.4m x .6 x .6 to play with sump is 1m x.5 wide x .650 high, this is a trickle tower with refugium the tank has an overflow box at one end with a 32mm outlet so may put another 1 or 2 in to help with flow what do you reckon callifo or durso? don't know if it will be reef, FOWLR or coldie yet thinking of adding another sump same size to it and a DSB any thoughts?
  13. there was a Jones in CHCH racing when i was a youngster an aviary bred bird should be kept in an aviary a hand reared bird can be kept in a cage so long as it is let out on a daily or regular basis i prefer a clipped wing in this situation to prevent a bird getting a fright and escaping through an open window or door when they get outside and up in the air they don't recognise any landmarks and can lose track of where they are some species will survive outside, others don't a well trained bird once it has been taught to come when called can be left to grow their wing back nothing like watching an alexandrine or king as it performs those acrobatics in the sky
